First time customer, happy with my style. Important to know: You MUST book a consulation by phone or appointment prior to your appointment if you are a new customer. I got small/medium knotless braids. I am very happy with the outcome. Easily the best set of knotless I have had! Lydia and Precious worked very quick, as I requested a longer length, and my braids are very neat and clean! Everyone was nice and personable. Lydia is very direct about her expectations, which I think is great to minimize confusion. Overall great experience! I will definitely book again!Service: Braids

Arrogant!!! Does your hair IF she's in the mood regardless if you have an appointment or not, will cancel on the spot! Talked bad about another stylist and how many children she has ect and how her ex abused her when she first moved to the United States the reason she has cameras in her shop just in case he come to start problems (I'm just here to get my hair done ? and ain't got time to be fearing for my life if your crazy ex come walking in ?) Plays Christian music but clearly isn't walking the walk! Styleseats Please stop sending me messages regarding her last minute opens! It just reminds me of the horrible experience I had! NO THANK YOU!

Lydia works fast and is a gentle braider. So if you are tender headed she is definitely the place you want to go. She also keeps up with the latest styles.

Lydia does good looking braids, but she is lacking with hair care and customer service. She doesn’t like to answer questions and kept referring to her website where she contends all answers are there. She also didn’t want to allow for even one break in this four to five hour process. The box braid in my back were decently spaced but in my thinner front she put too much hair on each too small section. I would encourage her not to do that in future because it causes more hair loss and breakage. Lastly, because I wanted my ends curly instead of straight, she charged me an extra ten dollars and said I was asking too much and she didn’t think she could do my hair again. I was perfectly happy not to come back, because she was so unwilling to talk or answer questions anyway and was quite brisk.

I have been going to Lydia for a couple years and she is 1000% the best braider and crochet stylist in Lansing. She also makes wigs and sells beautiful accessories. Her booking is through the web and her booking deposit is extremely fair. She also takes multiple forms of payment. If you let her know what you want, she delivers even better if that's a style she offers. She is on time and her shop is always clean! Her schedule can be challenging to get booked on if you're not early or flexible. She has many loyal clients. Because she's that good. 100% worth booking!Services: Box braids

First a price that was discussed was not what the amount that was paid. Second she never communicated the whole time. In the end she not only do not do what was asked. She braided it to long wasted a $80 pack of natural hair. Then stated that she would refund me and changed her mind the next day. Save your coins. Or not if you trust someone that has no character.

Lydia braided my hair (Knotless Braids). She did a wonderful job. She was very fast and professional. Her prices are very reasonable. I will definitely come back in a couple of months. I highly recommend her!!! You will not regret it.

I had the most wonderful experience, my box braids have been in for nearly a month and they still look wonderful. Such a positive experience whilst getting my hair braided as well. 10/10 completely worth the price will be getting my hair done here from now on.
