Ashley, District Manager in Lansing, MI, refused to help me because my name had what she called, a “squiggly line”. She refused to help me because I am Mexican. This is the second time that she has refused to help me at two different locations. Today, at the South Cedar Location, Ashley, District Manager, stopped helping me after 2 minutes and then proceeded to help a white man who came in minutes later. She paused my transaction in the middle of claiming to help me. After almost completing the man’s request, she stops and tells me that I have to call “them” to fix the “squiggly line” in my name, by the way there was no squiggly line in my name on the application or on my ID. She made it up, because she did not want to help me. I proceed to call “them” in front of her. “They” tell me that there is no squiggly line in my name, on the application. She lied to me. She only wanted me to leave and go home and call “them” to fix the “problem”. She heard them say on speakerphone, there’s no squiggly line in my name, at that moment she pulls out her cell phone and starts recording me. At this time I am joyous to find out that Ashley can help me, she proceeds to tell me to leave while recording me, she says, “that was rude”, “you need to leave”. What was rude? Catching you in a lie? She calls her boss, before the police. Meanwhile I’m waving at the surveillance camera. I’m not doing anything but being a paying customer and victim of a Boost employee. She refused my service, simply because she doesn’t like Mexican people. By now, she’s texting all her coworkers, making up a story that I’m being a “hostile” customer. At this point, I told her I’ll do business else where and she follows me outside. She came up to my car and recorded my license plate. After she just treated me like we were in the 1950’s. I refuse to do business here and I will tell all of my friends and family to not do business with Boost. I will contact corporate as well. She took my kindness for weakness. I had no intention to have to fight for my rights. I will if I have to. I plan to sue Boost Mobile for racial discrimination. She should go back to school to learn what that little “squiggly” line is called. She clearly needs more training. She is only concerned about smoking cigarettes outside and not doing anything of value, like keeping customers happy. She didn’t break my smile. I say she is racist because she didn’t want to help a Mexican get free stuff from the government.

Wish I could give less than one star, horrible experience went in to purchase the Xfinity prepaid internet and explained it's for a new house so no coax and that I would need a technician and inquired about the cost, the salesperson said I would not need a technician so I asked if it was wireless she said no I plug it in to my phone jack, it's actually coax but I have neither because it's a new house. I told her she was not listening to me and she cussed at me and then got aggressive and waiving a phone in my face, very professional.
