Nick was great helping me with my Budget rental when I picked it up and was a great help with adjustments while renting. Justin did a great job when I returned the vehicle as well. The vehicle was clean and in tip-top shape.

Staff were friendly and helpful, it’s the condition of the car that had me rolling. The car smelt of cigarette smoke and sweaty butt cheeks, the seats looked as if someone had been sitting on them with their naked sweaty butt cheeks. I had to put towels in the seats to drive around in the vehicle I rented. I also had to go home straight away from the Avis store to wash the inside of the car it was so dirty, made my skin crawl to be in it. I was disappointed with the smoke smell, I do not smoke, and have my children to drive around with me, 3rd hand smoke is still harmful and toxic, why say the rental will be a non-smoking vehicle if your not actually offering non-smoking vehicles? So disgusting.**Update** The email Avis has asked me to email into to discuss my issues does not accept mail, if your reading this sir, all message are being rejected and bounced back to me. Nice.

First off, Stacie seemed like she was doing some drugs. Rough start to a $10,000 cruise vacation all because they required all the names be the same between the reservation and payer but took the payment already? I’ve rented before where someone paid for my vehicle and didn’t have to be present, just ID and put my card on file. Now we’re last minute having to find a vehicle because they couldn’t just transfer the names so it all lined up for whatever janky policy they have. They literally told us to go to Enterprise. My boyfriend(Latin) and our friend Darly(black) we’re picking up the vehicle and based on the reviews it seems people of color have issues at this location. Do not recommend.

This Avis location does not even deserve one star. I've called three times, then put on hold three times. The last time I was put on hold, I was redirected to a directory just to call back and the female that answered the phone didn't even wait for me to say okay or not okay. Customer service at this location sucks!

I rent car from New York and we planed to return it last week in this branch and take other car from other agency but i met ( agent : Stacey ) and she hlep me to find better option with Avis, and I end up keeping the car for ten days more .. she was so helpful and nice . She is the best car rental agent i ever met .

The rental was ok. It served its purpose of transporting the youngest to the Univ of MI for the start of year 2. The customer service was great and I was in and out with no wait at all. People need to start start treating things they borrow as if they own them. For only 38k miles, the Pacifica was already starting to show age.

Nick the Avis worker who helped me was nice and pretty good at his job. Check in and out was fast and easy. Avis customer service is why I give only 1 star. No direct way to call the branch where you pick up or drop off. Terrible customer service hotline, very confusing and frustrating. No option for checking inventory just "yes we have one available or no we do not" and this is NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE. Memphis airport branch gave me a mechanically unsafe car but I returned it the next day with only a small inconvenience. Exchanged for a car that smelled like weed and tobacco, they said it's the only one we have available right now so I took it. They made a note about the smoke smells when I departed the lot and scanned car and ID. I will add to this review once more info is available about the car accident I was involved in while in Memphis TN. GEICO is my insurance and they seem to be helpful so far since they include rental cars with my policy so no need to pay 35$ daily insurance through Avis.

I liked the car. Stacie at the local rental lot was friendly and helpful.DISHONEST COMPANY POLICY?I DID NOT like having to contact the company to demand the difference ($50) between what I prepaid and the actual price. I was told by the representative: "It's not our policy to refund that money." I said it was actually stealing from me since I prepaid to get a better rate. Is this is corporate policy, it's a shifty and dishonest way of doing business!Reading Monte's response, I doubt my entire comment was read. I still say beware of doing a prepayment.
