We have been bringing our cars here for years, and they've never steered us wrong. They don't speak to me condescendingly (which is a pet peeve because my dad's a mechanic) and they're always fair and will not overcharge or try to sell you on things you don't need. If you need their help quickly, they do pretty well at fitting you into the schedule. I trust them with my family's cars, including my kid's and my mother's.

This is a wonderful place to take your car reasonably priced for work they do on your car. They are also honest about what needs to be fixed or if the car is not worth fixing. I will recommend them to anyone who may need their car repaired. When I get another car I will bring it here. Thank you for your help with my car I appreciate everything you all did.

Been a couple of weeks now, my electrical been solved. Been to many mechanics as well as the dealerships and no one could resolve a dangerous issue with the electrical. After two years it's finally fixed, I highly recommend auto surgeon.

Bill was wonderful! I added on a battery change to my preexisting appointment with no trouble and he got my car in and out within the same day! Explained everything to me very well and I got a voucher for a free oil change at the end of it all! Very reasonable prices and great service - highly HIGHLY recommend to any single lady looking for good info and good prices

I've taken my vehicles to Auto Surgeon for as long as I've lived in Lansing -that translates to a LOT of visits for repairs and maintenance with Bill and his crew. Without a doubt, they provide the finest overall auto service experience I've come across in over 60 years of driving. Uncommonly honest, dependable, reasonable... they just can't be beat. Period.

We've been taking our fleet vehicles, and personal vehicles, to Bill for over a decade now. You won't find a more honest, knowledgeable, and professional repair place in Lansing. His pricing is fair, his service is transparent, and if he doesn't specialize in a repair you need, he knows an honest guy who does. One time he diagnosed that we needed air conditioner condenser replacement in one of our trucks, and he booked the appointment and delivered our truck to the air conditioner guy, who did a fantastic job at a great price. Bill is keeping all of our older vehicles reliable and on the road longer, which is saving us a ton over time in car payments and insurance. We recommend Auto Surgeon to all our clients, freelancers, and family members. Bill's the best.

I've been taking my cars to Bill for over 20 years! He has always treated me and my vehicles wonderfully. As a young woman in a larger City I was always worried I would be taken advantage of by Auto mechanics.Bill and his staff always took the time to explain things to me, never pressured me to do unneeded repairs, and made me feel safe. I highly recommend this place to any young people looking for a place they can trust.

Bill has always been a pleasure to work with. I trust him and his staff to work on mine and my family’s vehicles and do the job right. He has always been very straightforward and honest with me, plus he takes time to educate the customer on what exactly is going on with your vehicle. As a local guide I pride myself on fair reviews, so I'll just give you the facts and let you decide. They didn't fix the issue, when he finally notified me at night to pick up the car the key was dead, the seat adjusted and things moved and missing from center console, also the car was moved even though they "didn't touch it". Also he took my oil change voucher that I got after $1900+ in work without changing the oil. Grimey bad buisness cheats working here in my opinion. 0/5 would not recommend to anyone.

What an absolute joke, left car there overnight from the morning and he texts me at 8pm saying he didn't do my oil change because he didn't "trust me" save yourself the time effort and money GO TO Valvoline get it done cheaper, better and in 15 mins before your eyes.
Every critique he gets he replies "never did work for you" Oh yeah Smooth brain? Everyone just complaining for fun?

Insanely rude Coustmer service, they yell at you like you don't know anything about cars, and the most important thing they are racists...... I really don't recommend it even if it's your last option.

One of the best mechanic shops that I know. They are honest and have great prices. My cars air conditioner went out and I went to three different mechanics before I found Auto Surgeon. He found the problem and told me that he could take my money to fix it but my car was old and so he didn’t feel right about doing the job since it was more than what the car was worth. I really appreciated it since he didn’t just fill it with coolant and say everything is fine and charge me $200 for the pleasure.

I’ve used Auto Surgeon for my oil changes and car repairs for years and am so grateful I found them! Easy to schedule with, respectful , HONEST, and friendly. I have called Bill (yes you learn their names) to ask him questions about my car and get second opinions if I’m out of town and he always takes the time to give an honest answer (vs the one that makes him money ) and explain why . I recommend them often to friends in the area .
