Let me start off by saying that I'm super duper broke. I'm building a house basically from scratch and I can't even afford proper floors, or walls, etc. Almost every penny I have goes to my house. So when I finally had enough money to replace my car's tires, I realized I needed an alignment so I wouldn't need another set of tires in 6 months.I had once in the past gotten a groupon for an alignment(at this business), and had it done without any issues. I looked on groupon again, because I knew I could get one as cheaply as possible and bought another groupon for the alignment. I Made my appointment, dropped it off. They advised me my serpentine belt was worn, but otherwise did the alignment and an oil change. That was all seemingly fine. When I went to pick up my car, however, that was where it all went wrong.Basically, the (presumably) manager sorta started ranting about how groupon is basically nothing for them. They make nothing he says. Its a loss, to draw in customers. But it was reiterated more than once that they make nothing on it. He then mentioned that if I want to save money he'd do the alignment for the same cost as the groupon because at least then they'd make "something from it"So yeah, I understand groupons aren't super profitable for the businesses involved, but when I buy it, I don't know the exacts of that process nor should I, nor do I care about it. Most consumers do not know this stuff, and they buy groupons because they are a value, and that customer needs that value price, for whatever reason. We don't go into the business with an assumption that the business gets nothing. We go into the business with the assumption the groupon is being paid to the business. So, from our perspective, we've paid the workers that are doing the work.At first I thought it sounded good coming in and getting alignments without messing with the groupon(if the business gave me the same price.), BUT, the way the person speaking made me feel was if I was bad in some way for using this groupon. As if I was taking money out of the pockets of his employees, or his business. I asked him if it was a loss why did they do it?.. he said its to draw customers in. "We give away a free oil change to get customers in the door"That's a good method, advertising costs money. But when the customer comes in the door, the best way to make them want to stay a customer is not by insinuating they didn't pay the business because using the groupon gives them nothing. Giving them a guilt trip about it, even if not intentional, doesn't scream customer retention. In my case, its basically made me feel like never going back, even if I have a groupon. Even if the groupon was free. Its amazing to me, because all the information that was conveyed to me about the groupon, about the money they make(or don't make) from them, and about offering me the same price for the same service, could all have been presented in a different way using a different tone, and perhaps would have retained me as a customer instead of alienating me.It appears this person has a beef with groupon, but didn't do the business any service by complaining to the customer about it.On the upside, the reason its not 1 star, they didn't tried to upsell me. They did fix my stripped oil drain plug(and an oil change), and also performed the alignment properly. The fella at the counter was really friendly.Services: Wheel alignment

FAST,FAIR,HONEST AND GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO.I replaced the throttle body on my 2011 silverado. Afterwards I needed to have the idle reset. It was running at 3500 rpm and would not go back to normal. Even after doing all the recommended procedures. The ecm had to be reprogrammed. After calling several different shops and dealers. They all wanted at least $300 and a week to do it. The guys at Auto Lab got me right in and it was only $62. The truck runs absolutely great. I've always done all my own repairs. Since I don't have the very expensive scan tools to reprogram the ecm myself I needed help and fast. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I can not say enough good things about Sam, Jon, and Laurie. I took my car in for an oil change and to look at a noise in the rear passenger side. Turns out there is so much rust damage that it's not safe to drive. This was the 4th place in as many months to have it up on a lift, but they are the first to tell me of the extensive damage. Had it been brought to my attention sooner we could've had it welded, now there is nothing that can be done.Thank you!!!

Came in to shop for a wheel alignment recommended by Discount Tire. Seen Groupon for $60 or so to get one. Well turns out I’m upsold over inflated parts with 2 ball joints and a tie rod with alignment almost $900 my mechanic friends were appalled in this invoice price say it was robbery. The shop never successfully completed all 4 wheels aligned front and rear then suggested that I come back after the weekend for more work on the rear suspension parts for camber/cast/toe adjustments they couldn’t do previously. Well after recovering financially a few weeks since I reach out to schedule work and on the phone manager is trying to tell me $300 for a camber bolt part on rear needs replaced and everything under the sun trying to quote me $500 each side of rear alignment for parts and labor collectively upwards of $1000+ trying to throw on struts and other things I didn’t even ask/suggest quote for without getting vehicle back in for inspection.Overall point is if you have a gut feeling about being scammed or taken advantage of a little you’re probably right that shop is trying to take you for over $2000 outside of struts taken of estimates/invoices sell you all kinds of other lil parts inflated with labor quoting 4-5 hrs labor then sit at the shop and watch them do job in 2-3 tops. What really stood out was how fast the manager talked in person and over phone over you fast appeared to me high on some form or substance of some sort the other week. Also the girl was small talking to me for 1.5 hrs unproductively before manager showed up seemingly high fast talking sweating that was telling me her life story how she’s only a self taught not state certified mechanic working in their shop and did her first transmission a few weeks ago and low and behold there’s a recent complaint on here 1 star that customer had the girl do their transmission the shop blamed her for that customers blow transmission within 50 miles after receiving back their vehicle.Everything about their energy or feelings I felt in shop experience and phone screamed these are not good and honest mechanics with full transparency. The girl tried to tell me something last visit and the manger tried to hush or shut her up from telling me some relevant important information before handing me back keys.

I do not recommend this place, I spent 2,000 to get my car fixed, they scammed me and overcharged me for simple things. If you need your car fixed I recommend something else that won’t overcharge you.

I went in for a diagnostic test on my car (which was priced at $108) and somehow I ended with them keeping my car for almost three weeks trying to do more tests. They talk fast and around you. They did not tell me they were charging me extra for keeping my car. They also did not explicitly state that they were running additional tests. I wish they would have just told me they did not know what was wrong with my car after the first test so I could have had time to go elsewhere instead of cheating me out of $300. Literally go anywhere else.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Dropped off for a simple oil change. They called and said they couldn't remove the skid plate. A screw was stripped and there would be this process in order to remove it correctly. $148. charge. I declined. Next day I went to Instant Oil Change. No issues.Service: Oil change

Picked up my Mom's truck after they installed transmission lines. The lines leaked the transmission blew. With less than 50 miles on the vehicle they said it was her fault and it would cost $5,000 dollars for a junk yard transmission no warranty or guarantee. We called a transmission shop $4500 Jasper remanufactured with warranty,When we went to have it towed the truck had the window broken out the transmission lines cut the catalytic converter removed and it was suspiciously parked two feet outside the camera range. They never HONORED there warranty. I give them two stars because I honestly believe they were telling the truth about no warranty on the transmission that blew because be of thier repair.

The manager is great and his staff seem knowledgeable. I appreciated how they squeezed me in for some basic maintenance. In the past not the greatest experience here....I can now give them a great recommendation.

Friendly, knowledgeable, honest shop with excellent service. Their labor rates are one of the lowest around and they don't charge a ridiculous markup on the parts. I had a 6,700.00 estimate from another shop, Auto Lab did everything plus more work that was found for 4,700.00 and offers a veterans discount. Sam the manager is a genuinely great person. I cannot recommend any other shop over the service you will receive at Auto Lab.
