I’m only 1 year into mini Dexter Cattle ownership. So finding a Vet who listens to my needs and builds a relationship is important. I prefer the small owner operator Vets who care and are willing to help. I only have 11 head of cattle now. So I’m not the big dairy farmer. Just a hobby farmer wanting to learn more. I feel blessed to have found them. Perfect large animal Vet for the homesteader or hobby farmer. Looking forward to working with them in the future.? Highly recommend! ??

#1I’m an existing customer been going there for 8 years never had an issues until today 6-5-23 1:00 PM I was told if I didn’t have a big animal they couldn’t help me, so I want to be perfectly clear this is Lakeview MI was told it’s city not country no one is allowed to have big animals here so they are only treating animals that are not allowed here that is what I was told by the person named Carolyn so the clinic is located in the Village Of Lakeview and they only do farm animals very dissatisfied, are animals live here in the city but can’t get help farmers can!#2 Whatever the owner just posted is a lie I live in Lakeview not even 2 blocks away and was told I can’t get help for my animal because they don’t help small animals and they did not even 2 years for a emergency issue and it was taken care of the following day no questions asked so with that said if anyone reads this comment if you have a small animal this place is not what it once was, we need a veterinarian that provides help for the “small animals” that are allowed to live in Lakeview Village

They are no accepting new patients who have a cat or a dog because they don't currently have a vet for small animals. Small animals meaning cats and dogs.

Vet came out to our house to trim our 800lb boars tusks. I thought she did a fantastic job considering he wouldn't allow her to sedate him. I highly recommend her for something of this nature and we will definitely call her again when he needs it in a year. Cost was $55 for her to come out to our home and $100 per hour (we paid a few bucks extra because she did mix up a sedative even though he wouldn't allow her to use it on him).

I just called for an appt. And they were booking at least 6 weeks out. We rescued a small dog that had been abandoned in a rental home and needed shots and to be checked asap. They didn't seemed concerned enough to get her in right away. So I wouldn't want a relationship with a vet for another member of my family that couldn't make time for that long to see her. And now they’re closed!!!! I can’t imagine why they’re no longer in business…. (Sarcasm)

While pressure washing a building i inadvertently sprayed a 4 wk old rabbit.. the baby rabbit blended in with the color of the side of the building so I didn't see it. The extreme pressure from the washer peeled back the scalp of the rabbit which went into shock. I quickly called local vet in Lakeview who quickly came and saved the rabbit... hopefully it survived.. I'll know more tomorrow.
