“After relocating from New Jersey back to Michigan after 22 years, I needed to transfer my Allstate insurance to Michigan. I contacted Mr. Montgomerey's office and waited for a summary and price of my policy to be sent to me (by email). In the meantime, another Allstate agent contacted me, and as I was in the midst of driving on the highway and I was given a quote of an increase of a thousand dollars more per year. Upon questioning this, I was lied to by that agent who insisted that the Michigan law had made it mandatory for the PIP coverage to be a minimum of $250, 000. I had given this agent my credit card number ( still driving on the highway), and the coverage was not to begin for another week until my policy ended in New Jersey. That agent charged my card the same day and played games about canceling the policy. I received a quote from Mr. Montgomery the next day, that was less than my original policy. The other agent purposely tried to block any other Allstate agent to be able to bring up information on me. I thank Mr. Montgomery for his honesty.”

“I most recently worked with Brendon White to change my policy. He mostly works with the new clients, but I had worked with him before back when I got my first insurance policy, when I graduated from high school. He was my parents' insurance agent. So we have been working with Brandon and Hartland Insurance for over 25 years.Currently, when Brendon was looking up policies for my new policies, he decided to see if he could find a better deal for my parents, too, and started a quote in case they wanted to look into it. He found a plan that could save them hundreds a year and it's a better policy than the one that they have now.Everyone that I have worked with at the company is friendly and helpful. None of them try to pressure me, and it's like talking with a friend or family member who is looking out for my best interests. I had a commercial policy for a few years because I was delivering with DoorDash for a few years, but since I've stopped, I wanted to switch back to a regular policy to save money. So I have dealt with a few different agents, and they're all wonderful people!Brendan says that he can't always guarantee a cheaper rate. But he will work hard at finding you a good value and a good policy. He's honest, and he enjoys what he does, and it shows.”
