If you value your time and want accurate, prompt service, avoid Abacus accounting. I was a new customer this year. I gave them my tax documents two weeks before deadline. I didn't get my prepared taxes back for 5 months. My accountant there said that she doesn't call the IRS herself. She says that only the owner can contact the IRS using a "portal." Ridiculous. They refused to call the IRS and I waited months for the owner to go to her special portal like Dr Who. After I filed and paid my tax, the IRS sent me three bills for underpayment. Typically even H&R Block will do follow up if the IRS contacts you. Not Abacus. I asked my tax preparer Shauna to contact the IRS. She refused and again said that she had to wait for the owner to go to the "portal." Gross incompetence. An accountant who refuses to call the IRS is like a carpenter who refuses to go to the lumberyard. Steer clear if you value your time and money. Abacus Poor service. No communication.

I would just say look elsewhere for your accounting needs to much to list basically the wheels fell off the bus on my service I wouldn’t recommend anyone have their taxes done here overcharging under performing
