  Hard pass on this place. We only stayed long enough to see that there was hair and what looked like bits of fecal matter on the toilet, and a wad of hair around a marble in the sink. If the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, we had zero confidence that the bedding had been changed. I'm all for minimalism, but it *has* to be... read full comment

  No stranger to dives. We bailed after paying. Didn't even ask for our money back.

  The Lakes Motel is under new management with the exception of T.V. it is a clean with reasonable rates place to rest up for the weary traveler close to restaurants and bars as well a gas station it's a good deal for the budget minded
