Best Snowblower I've ever had! The DR brand is truly built tough! Highly recommend stopping in and checking out their Snowblower selection.

So I recently purchased a 120 year old house in Lake Linden that was vacant for the past 10 years and moved here from northern Illinois. Well as you can imagine the hardware store is my second home. While they are a smaller store, I've been able to find most items I've needed. And if you plan ahead they are happy to order anything they don't have. Now about the store. Great small-town old-school place. Reminds me of the little ACE hardware in the small village I grew up in. The owner Greg is truly an old-school person. Him along with Jim and Heather are willing to do whatever they can to help with your needs. And in the rare instance an item doesn't work as you expect, return & refund is a no-hassle experience. I've purchased everything from a neat little Black & Decker toaster oven, to a Scotts lawn spreader. Shop towels, quality hand tools, Hefty trash bags, a huge #3 mailbox, American flags that are actually made in America, paint, an endless list. I've heard and read others complain about the prices. This is a small family-owned establishment. Not a Home Depot ! My little 9yo rescue dog Dixie has ALWAYS been welcomed here. Lay-away is welcome. This is what small-town America is about. That's why I chose to move here. And this store along with their grocery store have all of my business for as long as they own them. It's nice to see caring and helpfulness are still not a thing of the past with this family. Sincerely, David J Garris ???

Needed some drill bits and it was the closest place...big mistake. Junk off brand bits for $8 each...they all instantly broke. Couldn’t finish drilling holes. Later we went up the hill to 41 Lumber when we needed a few more things...brand name Irwin bits for $5 each and one bit finished the job without breaking.

This is the only hardware store that I know of that serves free popcorn. The store itself is wide open for easy browsing. The usual selection from Do It Best and some local-specific things that we need more of around here. Friendly staff too. Have I mentioned the popcorn? That alone is worth a visit!
