About Mayfield Pond Park
Mayfield Pond Park is a beautiful and historic hidden gem, a little slice of paradise just a short distance from the main road. It is a favorite spot with beautiful, well-maintained trails through the woods, including the High Ridge trail. Visitors can see the Mill Pond and multiple ponds, a spillway, and a small waterfall. The area features an old railroad equipment and a historic 1890 lumbering site with an observation platform offering beautiful views. It is a perfect location for a picnic, hiking, photos, or simply enjoying pond life like fish, turtles, frogs, crayfish, and ducks. The park has a pavilion with a fire pit and grill, as well as restrooms.

Nice little parkRestrooms: Outhouse has no window or anything, i had to leave the door slightly open to see.

My favorite place in the area...well it's paradise and it's beautiful. And not over used. It's a beautiful hideaway that so many people miss. The trails are beautiful and well maintained. It's a little slice of paradise.
