I have always loved this Lowe’s and would love to give them 5 stars. However recently they have changed the checkout to have only one person to person check out. There are staff standing there to help if you need it. Every time I go in there, the person to person checkout has no one in it and one whole section of the self checkout is closed. On one occasion the staff member was having customers use the lanes that were closed, as long as they were using cards. I’m, sorry, but if you’re going to have mainly self checkout then they should all be open all the time. Most of us can read if it’s card only. Either bring back your staff and open up more person to person checkouts. Or keep your self checkout open unless they’re broken. No need to ever have a large line at this store. You never did before going mostly self check.

BEWARE!!! Horrible horrible delivery service!!! If you expect your product to arrive damaged, late or not at all then this is the place for you!! Day 1 my refridgerater arrived with several large dents, scratches and a huge gouge on the side. Day 2 the driver was late for a 4 hour window! Could not find my house and gave up trying after 5 minutes only to say they would try again tomorrow. No thank you!! The 3rd time is not a charm and I'll be getting my money back to shop elsewhere with a more reliable delivery service!!

Management has enabled customer service to utilize discretion to properly navigated some of the broad strokes of policy. 5 star great care team.Tony is a saint.Jennifer and company will keep me team blue instead of orange.

Today I had to return very heavy boxes of flooring to the Kentwood store and choose a different flooring. Matt the assistant manager went out of his way to find the correct product and made my exchange go smoothly including loading it. He delayed his lunch in order to help me with out complaint. Thank you Matt for such great service. Lowes is my new favorite home improvement store.

I always get great help at this location. Doug went out of his way to find me an item I was looking for, and even got it off a pallet where it buried, then found us later to make sure we got it before we left. We also came by in December to buy a new Washer and Dryer and a guy, whose name I can't remember, made sure we were very well taken care of.

SO beyond upset at what has happened with Lowe’s. We bought a new dryer by them and had it installed, and find out it’s not heating correctly (sometimes it gets warm and sometimes it just blows cool air). I call them and ask a technician to come out to see if it was installed properly. A technician comes out the next day, and while he moves the dryer and washer out of the way for him to see what’s going on behind the dryer, he dislocated the copper pipes resting on my wall connected to my washer and twists the washer with too much force to get it out of the way, and cracks the PVC pipe. So now I’m unable to use my washer in fear of it leaking water and I have an unusable dryer. First of all, the other technician that came with said to the other technician that he shouldn’t have pulled so hard because it’s fragile. Second, the technician himself said it was his fault and Lowes would be compensating. I get a phone call saying the most they can do is a $50 credit on my bill for my $1,056 dryer. I ask him if that $50 is enough to get it fixed and he tells me no, but it should be enough to purchase the parts from Lowe’s and fix it myself. EXCUSE ME?? I’m not a plumber so how would I be able to fix it myself and this wouldn’t have happened if the technician didn’t pull so hard. I ask him instead of the $50 if he could refer me to a place to get it fixed and he said the most he could do is a $50 credit on the bill. Why am I having to pay with my own money to have a plumber fix it when it was the technician from Lowe’s who broke it and they can’t even pay for a repair??? I’ve never experienced something as bad as this from Lowe’s. UPDATE: the technicians came to deliver the replacement SECOND dryer and it also came damaged…there was a huge dent on the side of it…not sure if the delivery drivers dented it getting it out of the box and onto the driveway or if it came like that. I took off three days from work just to get nowhere. How can they keep being so careless?? UPDATE: they brought the third dryer and dropped it off and said there was no note saying they needed to install it…I paid for installation so I dont know what they’re on about …

I went into the store on Friday 9/8 needing a new fridge Noah our sales associate was amazing. Unfortunately the home delivery people were beyond unhelpful! We went in on an urgent need as our fridge died we scheduled it for a delivery as soon as they could get out here which was Sunday the 10th. My time window was 12-4. I got the text on Saturday evening stating they would be here between 8:30-12:30. I had to change me plans to make sure I was home. 11:30 came and I had not received a call yet stating they were 30 mins out so I went online to check the status and it was now not showing delivery until Monday the 11th. I called the store and was placed on hold and after a while finally transferred the phone rang and rang and then disconnected. I had to call back a second time and explain once more the situation. I finally got transferred over to home delivery as was then told that my order did not make it on the truck today. So now I am left with no fridge. They gave me a $200 credit and I asked them to put it back on my card. The order was split and we used 2 different cards and I was told they could only put the credit on one card which was fine I wanted it on my card and then I was told no it could only be credited back on the other, which causes more inconvenience for me to try to get half back. When I told him I can give the other full card number I was basically told I could take the $200 back on the one card or he could cancel my entire order. The customer service I received was beyond poor and I will never shop at Lowe’s again due to this!

Stay as far away from "Lowe's Pro" as possible. We used this service for a deck build and while the price was reasonable the service and support has been atrocious. The contractors left an unfinished deck THREE MONTHS AGO and I can't get a response from anyone. Lowes Corporate blames the store, the store blames corporate, and the contractor blames the store. No one has a clue. No one responds to email. No one can tell you anything over the phone. I would not recommend using this under any circumstances.

Great customer service, I was guided to part i needed quickly and accurately. They even had the exact part I was replacing, not super important but very appreciated nonetheless. They have just about every home improvement/maintenance part or tool you'll need.

Steve in the kitchen design team provided great service! He was professional and very helpful walking us through the kitchen design and ordering process. If I have other kitchen needs I will be back because of his great expertise!

We were told by 4 different employees that our dishwasher warranty would cover a replacement part. We received help ordering the part. Once it came time to request our reimbursement, our claim was denied and then the best thing that could be done is a 50% reimbursement. There was no issue telling us how to spend our money, but when it came time for the reimbursement there were all sorts of problems. This would have been cheaper for me to purchase the replacement part outside of my warranty and outside of Lowe’s assistance.

Worst experience ever, exceptionally bad... Called in advance at around 5:00 about a 24 hour truck rental, they said we needed our insurance and license, and we drove 30+ minutes to rent the truck, money in hand, but Dina informed us that “recently we’ve had people not returning trucks on time, or something, so we don’t rent past 7.” Instead of calling a manager, or trying to help, we were rushed out the door. When we called there was ZERO mention of a 7pm cutoff. Called specifically for this. Horrible. Now we have to come back at 6:00am on a first come first serve rental, and drive another hour round trip for something we could’ve gotten tonight.

Had a terrible experience recently. I took my husband to pick out a new grill/ smoker. They said it would be assembled and ready for pick up five days from our purchase... great. Then, we arrived that day, and it's not assembled. They tell us they can have it ready in an hour. Okay, we run some errands and return over an hour later... it's still not ready. We wander around for another half hour, and it's finally assembled. A manager-type guy joins us and says that our purchase isn't in their system, so we can't return it if we wanted to. What?! We were disappointed over and over. Lowe's should be embarrassed. Next time we'll go to Home Depot.
