My room had a funky smell, they tried to accommodate me but it was pretty strong. Like wet dog or something. I was only staying for the night so I wasn’t too bent on it. Service was great and friendly.

if I could give this hotel ZERO stars i would without a issue. First room they put me in had dead bugs in the toilet and in the refrigerator.Second room they put me in when I got out the shower it was a ROACH on the kitchenette sink. I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody.

Bad hotel chain. Stayed in Sharonsville Ohio. They requested a deposit . After I booked online. After five days only half the deposit was returned. When questioned I was informed I was being charged $25For a wash cloth that was dirty. It had ice cream on it. I left my room spotless. I had to beg for a remote. Shady business. I want my deposit back!

There we bugs crawling in the tub and on the carpet both rooms kitchens were dirty one had the stove completely taken apart. I felt uncomfortable and did not sleep well as a result of the uncleanliness.

The bathroom was all the way clean except for the shower & tub which had other ppl's germs, hairs, debris in it even on the shower curtain. When I addressed it to the front desk they told me that they would take of it and have housekeeping service the room asap which they did their part but housekeeping NEVER came to properly clean the shower, tub and shower curtain. When ppl pay their hard earned money no one wants to have to deal with things like this and because of that I will never stay at the Kentwood, Michigan extended stay hotel ever again. Check your room if & when you're going to plan on stayting at this specific location!

I've been here for work and so far my stay has been really good ..All the staff is very accommodating and helpful. Shout out to Blair though she was the frontdesk person that checked me in and she really went above and beyond.. Thank You ..!!

Everything was nice & I felt safe staying there all most 3mo.on a job project.the staffing are very nice especially Ms. Blair. She keeps you laughing ? I would recommend this hotel.Rooms: The Room was very clean.

Room was pretty basic but clean enough and the location was convenient for me. It's just like any other extended stay with the "breakfast included" aka some oatmeal and granola bars if there happens to be any left that day. They have a weird rule about towels/sheets, only offering fresh ones during certain hours.One of the staff members (bigger lady with a short hair) never smiled or said hello and was always super rude and unhelpful. Gal - you majorly lack in customer service skills and basic manners. Friendly advice: get another job where you don't have to talk to people. Besides her, the rest of the staff was nice.

I reviewed this place a month ago stating the lack of cleaning and rude treatment of the staff. The owner replied on here saying they clean every 8 days. I don't know where this came from because the staff have it posted that they clean every two weeks, and they say that is only if the room desperately needs to be cleaned. Still the front desk staff hide in the rear area and only come after raising your voice requesting help. This time after a few weeks of not getting the room cleaned, I asked again and was told they would clean the room because the cleaners didn't have much work ( even though they say they don't have people is why getting my room at least every other week is too much). The room was not cleaned, and with the this and the issues I previously posted, I would urge anyone to reconsider staying here unless they don't mind dealing with these issues. I cleaned the air filters as they were black, and whenever the exhaust fan is not running, the bathroom smells like smoke. I added a few pictures to help give context. I omitted photos of the blood covered mattress, ( due to how disgusting it is, but can share if someone actually wants to do something about this).I originally had intended to stay here for a few more months, but this has been ridiculous, and the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.Follow up: After management responded to this feedback on this forum, my wife received a call from a person identifying themselves as the building manager, and she said we had to leave, and that we could call this district manager, but she would agree with her. While leaving, other guests approached me stating they had not been able to get their room cleaned in the past 6 weeks, and they witnessed many other guests in similar situations to ours.

Very nice and cheep rooms. Nothing really fancy, just a place with a kitchen. It was brand new and very clean. That's the most important thing to me!Walkability: This location is very close to the malls and stores around. There are some restaurants and a Trader Joe's nearby.

Some of the other reviews I am wondering how true they were. This is not a bad place. I do know that it is hard to get good help these days.
