What an amazing place. Great wine, great food and a great staff. We feel welcome every time we walk in the door. The burger is killer. I usually do not like bubbly wine, Stoney Ridge has a really good one. The owners are such nice people!!!! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location. Last year my wife and I and another couple drove our vintage British sports cars to Stoney Ridge to enjoy some excellent wine. Before we left we took some photos of our cars with the vineyards in the background. One of the owners/managers invited us to part our cars right in front of the fences overlooking the vineyards. It was a terrific day! And we bought some great wine!!

What a treasure to have a place to go to with gorgeous views and delicious food! Our first server really knew their wines and it was so helpful in helping me choose which white I wanted to go with. I thought it was an extra special touch that when she brought me the glass, she also brought a taste sample of the other one I was thinking about. When spending close to $100 for a special evening, it's these little details that mean a lot! Our second server was much younger and not as interactive (which was fine you have to start somewhere). When we asked about the desserts she said we have a chocolate torte and a cheesecake with an apple crisp base. She failed to mention that the torte was surround in a base of pumpkin puree. I disdain the the taste of pumpkin with chocolate and would not have ordered if I knew this.I tried a little piece on the end to see if I could get a round the pumpkin and it was a no go. So I paid $9 for a blob of edible whip cream. It took her awhile to come back and check on us, it wasn't that busy. I very nicely explained that had I known there was pumpkin with the torte, I never would have ordered it. She really didn't seem to care. Anyway, we would still definitely go back! And I will make sure to get more clarification on how things are prepared. Having worked many years in the restaurant business as a server, I know how crucial it is for a server to know and explain the menu when asked about items. I also know that inexperience is perfectly fine, as long as you can learn from your mistakes and try to make the customer happy, at least in the way you receive the feedback.

A beautiful spot not too far from Grand Rapids! I love how it’s tucked away a bit and feels secluded, gorgeous scenery.A solid selection of wines, my boyfriend and I usually get samples/flights so we can try a little of everything and there’s something for both of our tastes. The food is delicious as well and I like how the menu changes seasonally so you can always try something new. The goat cheese dip is so good! The staff is incredible, extremely welcoming and willing to slow down and get to know their tables, never make you feel rushed. Only positive things to say about this place!

We recently stopped here to rest during a road trip to Manistee. The staff were very kind. Thankfully weather was beautiful so we were able to wait for an outside table by enjoying a seat in their Adirondack chairs. Even though it’s just off the road, you barely hear the cars driving by. Once we were seated at a table, no more than five minutes of waiting, we were able to enjoy a flight of wine along and lunch. Food was quite good and presentation was great. We ordered the Herb Crusted Haddock and a burger that was on their special of day menu. Our favorite wines were Crescent and Stoney Ridge Red. They also had a Blackberry mix that was quite delicious on hot day. We would definitely recommend stopping here if you have the chance.

Just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with family at Stoney Ridge. Beautiful late summer evening in Michigan so we sat outdoors to enjoy the very scenic outdoor views. Wine was wonderful. Food was great. We had so much fun with our wine flight samplers! Had the best time at Stoney Ridge!! Thank you . . .

Nice setting, and had a spacious and rustic feel. Wine was pretty good. We only ordered the charcuterie which was $18 and tasty, however we thought that it wasn’t much food for the price! We’d definitely like to try more menu items next time.

Arrived at noon for wine tasting and lunch. Our seat on the outdoor patio had a great view of the vineyard and farm valley. All 5 of us enjoyed our lunch--pizzas and sandwiches, especially the Sweet and Salty Pizza. The wines and ciders ranged from sweet to dry and we all went home with bottles of our favorites. We are already making plans to go back. Wait staff recommend reservations on the weekend.

A beautiful view and well kept and maintained property.Fantastic seat for small and intimate conversation or large group sharing. The food and beverages where well priced and nicely presented. The flight of wine allowed for sampling and the result was a success bottle purchase at the conclusion of our meal. The food was exceptional. The pork tacos where fresh and favourable and the wood oven margarita pizza was the best I have had here at home or abroad.Their pizza sauce was absolutely spectacular. The staff where polite, helpful, and accommodating of our groups needs. The staff where flexible, understanding and knowledgeable. They further recommend other local sites and pet friendly farm and market visits. Thanks, Doug, Kris and Piper

Some of my friends went here for a girls night because of someone's IG posts. The food looked great, so we chose a date and decided to take a quick little drive out of GR and have dinner! Lucky that I took a bit of time to make a reservation (there's usually 7 of us but only 5 could make it) but by the time we showed up around 5:45, the place was packed! There wasn't a TON of parking (especially when you're a larger party that shows up and drives separately) but we all didn't find it too difficult. It was a bummer though because we wanted to sit outside and it was way too cold for a summer day.We got the crab rangoon dip and goat cheese dip to share - both fantastic and came with pita and chips. If I had to choose, I'd probably go back for the crab rangoon dip as it was a little bit more unqiue. I also got a 5-pour flight tasting and it was good. I have a difficult time with Michigan wines in general but enjoyed a couple. Though I could not tell you which was my favorite or a standout. I got the sweet and salty pizza and really enjoyed it! The portion sizes were quite large and I could have easily finished it on a hungry day, but brought it home for leftovers. The pizza was good but I will say that I'd probably want to try something else. I think pizza can be enjoyed no matter what, but it's not something that I'd drive 30 minutes to eat.I do look forward to coming back again though and trying another dish, and hopefully enjoying the weather outside!

Some foodie friends and I had a girls' night here recently. I had only learned of Stoney Ridge recently on social media, and all the food looked really good so I was excited to check it out. Most in our group opted for a wine flight, which comes with 5 tastes for $13. I just got a glass of the pinot grigio, which I liked. Our server was able to help with some recommendations for me.To start, we ordered the Stoney goat dip and crab rangoon dip - both were tasty. Each dip came with pita and chips and were a decent portion for sharing. The crab rangoon dip was my favorite. For my dinner I got the mushroom pizza (mushrooms, goat cheese fondue, mozzarella, red wine reduction, parsley, lemon). Others got tacos, sandwiches, and salads. The menu is a little limited in size, but they do have weekly food features and gluten-free and vegetarian options. The pizza was pretty good but I felt it was just lacking something. I couldn't really figure out what it was but I think it needed more acidity. It was just a little bit one-note. The crust was good and the flavors were nice though. I think I'd try something else next time but appreciated having some leftover pizza at home. There is outdoor seating available and it looks like they have events and live music. It's about 25 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and I thought it was worth the drive.

Wine & food were delicious. Found an interesting Pinot Grigio/Chardonnay blend and I’m not a white wine drinker. There were great dry reds. Had a great conversation with Alexis and even got to talk with owner Dale. Just a great visit!

Beautiful spot inside and out. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Kids loved the local sodas. The wine was great, and food was delicious. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can dine outside next time.
