I've tried to give this place and employees an honest shot but I'm not likely to return. Anyone who knows me in the neighborhood knows I'm a thrifter and I'm also a small, teeny tiny business owner. I shop resale because it's part of my aforementioned business BUT I also purchase things for myself and my home. Like a lot!The last two times I've been in there was an uncomfortable experience. The staff they have is rude, dismissive and treated (me at least) as if I didn't have a brain cell left in my head. Their merchandise is well priced, but sparse.If you are looking for great clothes and shoes and don't mind being told you're not smart enough to use your credit card in their machine - head on over. If you have some self respect, think twice.

First time being in here and I was very impressed by the affordable prices & great selection of items, but only giving 2 stars because the lady working was quite rude to me and my family because we didn’t know they were closed and she had a terrible attitude about it and made a big deal about us being there 3 minutes after close… probably won’t go back if that is how they treat their customers!

This place was great. They don't carry a lot of merchandise, but the inventory they carry is priced appropriately for used items. The staff was very friendly as well. I ended up buying a small dresser that they held an extra day for me to pick up. I very highly recommend this establishment.

Absolutely love this place! It’s a more up scale thrift store. After talking to one of the workers who was an absolute sweet heart the cause is amazing. The Kalamazoo Gospel Mission ownes it. The mission helps people who basically have nothing and are just down and out. The store items are in good condition and it’s a clean environment. I would like to thank everyone that works in the store for helping such a needy cause. I will defiantly be back❤️

First time ever going to The Store absolutely recommend shopping here. The lady was very sweet and the prices were very good cheaper than most reach out stores.

Great selection of used, great condition 2nd hand merchandise. Very clean, and organized and displayed products. Lots of shoes, household items, clothes, books and videos.

Absolutely love the place I got a pair of basically brand new sandals for 5$ ! After talking to one of the workers who was an absolute sweet heart the cause is amazing. The Kalamazoo Gospel Mission ownes it. I used to volunteer in the kitchen every week for a couple hours preparing food and serving the public. A experience I would recommend to everyone. It’s an eye opener. You defiantly realize your more blessed than you think. I also donated 20$ on top of the shoes because the price was so cheap. Their mission to help people who basically have nothing and are just down and out In life is commendable. Their items are in good condition and it’s a clean environment. I would like to thank everyone that works in the store for helping such a needy cause. I will defiantly be back❤️

The new store is nicely done and very clean. The items, however, are way over priced. This is a thrift/resell store and I noticed prices on dog shirts of $10 and up! I've been in 3 times since they opened over here and have never purchased anything due to the prices plus about 75% of the store is clothing and shoes. There are not enough housewares and such.

The man who was working followed my boyfriend and I around the entire time we shopped. (Literally aisle by aisle) which he did not do to the other shoppers. I’m assuming it’s because we both have tattoos. So bizarre and made us VERY uncomfortable. We would have spent more time in store and more money had we not felt like we were being stalked. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

Just a quick shout out to Simple Treasures I was there yesterday and was treated with kindness and professionalism. Elaine had probably 15 people in the store and helped me with measuring some furniture along with all her other duties. Every time I stop in Simple Treasures I come away with awesome things!! Great clothes... great furniture and the prices are so low!! Love the volunteers that work there.
