All I can say is consider the source: they get broken cars or near-broken, some of which barely run, despite the Mission's In-house-mechanic who does barely minimal work on cars. Just enough to get them to move long enough for a test drive!!!. you should consider your car purchase more like regular cash spent out-of-pocket contribution, donating to Kalamazoo Gospel Mission (for nothing in return), and also expect to invest some big money in any vehicle you buy from them: After all, they get donated wheels that are often ***towed-in*** to their lot, one way or another. These are vehicles of low or no technical value that after all: nobody in their right mind wants any more in the first place! I bought a vehicle from them and it had three dry-rotted-out tires and I had to turn around and spend over $400 on tires on day two of ownership. I was almost stranded on flat rims! If you call with a "customer service issue" good luck in getting them to call you back. Sure, you're treated nicely, on the surface, but facts and known issues are swept under the rug, like any used-car salesman does, like *any*car salesman does. salesman/mgr. ! ...but let's face it, a truly dirt poor person who needs a car to drive to work (which I'm not and don't. I'm just frugal) will end up spending a few paychecks to have even minimal work down by your own mechanic, post-sale, maybe thousands of dollars!. Finally, keep in mind that their cars *look* nice... but... well, take your mechanic with you when you test-drive or plan to buy one of their jalopies!!! Caveat Emptor: BUYER BEWARE!

They ruined my car when I came to them in need and accepted my money with no guarantee. My usual mechanic couldn't get me in for a necessary repair so I turned to them thinking a christain based business would be the last place I'd have to worry about risking having to take a loss or being taken advantage of. I was better off driving it as is and playing it safe with a mechanic a know I could trust. Vehicles can take your life if they malfunction. No one should have to worry about if a repair was done improper when the place is soliciting under God's name .

I've personally purchased vehicles from Rescued Wheels over the past few years , both for myself and for friends & family. They make sure that the vehicles they have on the lot are serviceable & driveable . I recommend you go to them if you're looking.for a nice used car or truck before you look anywhere else . I think you'll be very surprised !

I don't like going downtown due to all the one ways and the traffic. But the director made the trip in easy. He helped me avoid all the hassle. My experience from there got even better. He took my vehicle in and did the inspection himself. Explained what was happening and why. I actually understood what was wrong with my vehicle. I wasn't pushed, he didn't exaggerate or try to sell me on repairs that I didn't need. All my concerns were listened to. It's hard finding a mechanic shop like this. I felt like I was in my small town shop with people I could trust. When I got my estimate I called around. I have a need for comparing prices and getting good deals. Though I'd have probably set an appointment regardless due to the customer treatment. I was so excited when I realized how great a deal I was getting. Too bad they don't let you tip there. I was told my tip could be given to the Mission as a donation for the women's shelter. What am amazing experience. I hope to not have vehicle issues any time soon, but at least I know who I am going to next time.

Owner is a con artist. Seriously shouldn't even have a business license. Has had a vehicle for 5 months. Won't finish it. Won't give it back. Been paid in full since day 1. Thief and a quack!!!
