Was here on a business trip. Everyone from Valet to Guest Services and beyond were pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative.
Food and drinks: Brink and Brine restaurant was a pleasant experience. Our waitress, Katie, was awesome. The food was great.

Visited for a work conference. The facilities are nice. The food was pretty good. The breakfast options were not very good. The eggs were terrible.

Lovely clean hotel. Only negative I can say is that it is loud and in a busy area. But overall great for families. In our case we were there for a wedding.

I haven’t stayed in a Radisson in years. Let me tell you I was blown away with this hotel. I wish I had more time to experience the restaurants within and the amenities. Rooms were top notch.

PROS: beautiful hotel, impressive fitness center, friendly staff, clean, great conference venue
CONS: parking is in the ramp across the street and some difficulty finding a spot, parking is NOT free for guests -it’s an extra $20 PER night.
The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The fitness center had everything from TRX bands to free weights to aerobic machines. I did find it disappointing guests have to pay an extra $20 PER NIGHT to park (they add it to your hotel bill). Especially considering the cost of rooms, it just seemed to cheapen the experience a bit.
Safety: Very secure rooms. You need a keycard to access the elevators.
Noteworthy details: Parking is in the ramp across the street. It is NOT free -charges will be added to your hotel bill ($20 per night)

Everything was wonderful!!! I worked at the front desk of this hotel from 2004-2006. It’s been 18 years since I’ve been back. This hotel was where I began my hospitality journey and I was so excited to bring my husband here and see what’s changed. I am so happy and impressed that while many things have been refreshed, remodeled and updated, one thing remains the same as it did many years ago - the customer service is TOP NOTCH! Every single employee we encountered was friendly helpful and thoroughly enjoyed their job. I told my husband it was always this way and I’m so happy things haven’t changed. Dinner at Burdick was great & breakfast in the morning dish was even better. Can’t wait to come visit again!
Rooms: I wish there was a tub, but that’s no big deal
Walkability: Went to Bells for a beer - easy walk!

Great place to stay, especially if you're in town for a Michigan football game! The beds were fantastic—super comfortable—and the service was really good. We especially enjoyed the guest space on the 9th floor for snacks and water. It was a nice touch that made the stay even more convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Hotel, but the Check-In Experience Was Deeply Disappointing
I recently stayed at the Radisson in Kalamazoo, MI for a work conference. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing—the rooms are clean, the amenities seem decent, and there's a great view. However, my check-in experience was nothing short of appalling and marred what should have been a restful arrival after a long and exhausting day.
After missing both my train and bus, I found myself arriving at the Radisson at 3 a.m., tired and simply wanting to rest. My room had already been paid for, and I was looking forward to finally unwinding. However, when I reached the front door, it was locked, and despite having a reservation, I was left standing outside.
What followed was a deeply frustrating and disheartening interaction with the front desk staff. The person on the other side of the buzzer was dismissive and unkind from the start. She couldn’t—or perhaps didn’t want to—find my reservation. I stood outside, spelling out my last name into the speaker and answering a slew of unnecessary questions. Her Karen tone and attitude were laced with a sense of superiority and condescension that left me feeling both hurt and unwelcome.
To make matters worse, as she finally located my reservation, I overheard her talking to a co-worker about me. She referred to me as “one of them,” among other unkind remarks. Whether this was a deliberate attempt to let me hear her or just careless disregard, it added another layer of disrespect to an already unpleasant situation.
The racial microaggressions I experienced during this encounter were undeniable and disheartening. It’s a painful reminder that even in 2024, certain prejudices persist, and it’s particularly disappointing to encounter this in a place where I expected professionalism and hospitality.
Had this not been a work trip, I would have left and gone across the street to the Hilton Garden Inn. No one should have to endure the kind of treatment I received at this hotel, especially after a long day of travel.
I hope the Radisson management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of their staff. No amount of beautiful decor can make up for the lack of basic respect and courtesy.
Rooms: Nice, you can tell there's been a refresh or update, everything feels shiny and new
Safety: I felt safe-ish.
Noteworthy details: Very Rude Front Desk.
