They are disrespectful, rude and careless. The owner is an arrogant person and ego is so far up his behind.

This is the only place I’ll go to in Kalamazoo to get my nails done! They always do a great job and their pricing is really affordable. I usually get a shellac manicure for $35-$40 and it lasts for weeks without chipping. You need to call ahead to schedule an appointment, but they’ve usually been able to squeeze me in even when I’ve only called a day or two in advance, and I’ve rarely had to wait once I get there. Highly recommend!

I went to get my nails done at Phoenix Nails & Spa and during the process they always ask do you want gel or acrylic and during the process I was not asked this, I was automatically given “gel” and charged extra for it without my knowledge or permission. I also heard Ann’s husband who was doing another lady’s nails and she asked what the difference was and he said the “gel” powder was whiter than the acrylic powder and he blatantly lied to this woman. There is no such thing as a gel powder and the gel should be actual gel, not a powder which is actually disguised as acrylic powder. They’re basically using acrylic powder, disguising it as gel, using ONLY a gel nail polish and charging you extra while being dishonest about what they’re actually using. I can’t imagine how many people they have scammed using this acrylic powder, disguising it as “gel” which is a powder and not an actual gel which it should be. I filed a report with the FTC and will never use this business for their dishonest practices again.

I just had the best pedicure I have ever had! I have major dead skin and she was Very gentle but got it all off. She was very skilled and precise but also very quick! It was relaxing but very efficient. My feet look great. I will be back for sure!

Returned from Italy with my acrylic nails needing to be cleaned up as they had grown out. Walked in at 6 p.m. with no appointment and place was empty yet they are open until 7. I was obviously not a regular customer and they asked how they could help. They said they are only by appointment now, (Covid pandemic change) but had no appointment so they would help. Husband did manicure. Wife sat to the side. Had a great conversation and learned as many children of business owners "I'm never going to work there!", he graduated from a local HS, received his engineering degree intending to go into the auto industry but graduated during the 2008 recession to no available jobs. Family offered him to join business "Meet lots of cute girls.", they said. So he did and while going from auto engineering to nail salon, and his former classmates making fun, he had the upper hand, making more money than their unemployment check. So, he won in the end! Great conversation, great manicure and has lasted on month! Hoping to get an appointment scheduled today.

I struggled finding a great nail place in Kalamazoo for awhile until I found Phoenix Nails. I’ve been going there repeatedly for the last 6 months and every time they are nothing short of amazing. Not only do they do an exceptional job, but they are friendly and the environment is always so welcoming. They also take such good care of your natural nails. I’ve been to places that absolutely destroy your natural nails in the process of doing your nails. I have been able to grow my natural nails so long and they are so healthy, I definitely recommend Phoenix nails to anyone who is looking for a great nail place!!Services: Pedicure

“Reply” You asked me to give you a reason.. okay.. the husband CANNOT do nails. You have no personality when it comes to greeting clients, you throw away your regular clients for people you think might pay you more. Is this Sufficient?

I went into this shop today June 25th at 6:10 pm for a pedicure, it says they are open until 7:30pm. As soon as I walked in the mail tech told me they were booked for the day, I asked was it appointment only, she says yes but there is no signage posted anywhere that says it nor on the website. I’m visiting from another city, this was a bad experience for me.

I went here to get my nails done for spring break. I'm a college student and moneys a little tight, but I figured that I would treat myself. I paid $55 for tips and dip. At first, they looked decent - a little flawed in some areas - but I figured overall they were okay. A week later, I noticed that they were cracking and coming up on the ends. A few days after I noticed this, one fell off as a opened my car door. I went in and they fixed it for free, but a few days later another one came off. Nice people, but do not go here if you want your nails to stay on for more than a week and a half.
