The convenient location and excellent building security Parkway Flats (PWF) offers brought me to the community several years ago; their outstanding and professional management and maintenance teams kept me here. The PWF team is friendly and responsive, and they provide numerous activities in addition to the community amenities. They stay on top of routine maintenance and landscaping, so the facilities still look like new.
My apartment is filled with light, thanks to the oversized windows, and there's a surprising amount of storage. Having a full-sized dryer and HE washer in the unit is a life-saver. My balcony is large and has become like an extra room that we use throughout the year.
I love how close the PWF community is to interstates, shopping, schools, Miller Auditorium, downtown Kalamazoo, farmers markets, and local orchards. Arboretum Trail is on our doorstep, and it's a short drive to countless other natural areas, like Asylum Lake Preserve, Kal-Haven Trail State Park, the Kalamazoo Nature Center, & Al Sabo Land Preserve. The Gilmore Car Museum is only a half hour's drive, and Lake Michigan is just an hour away. I highly recommend checking out the Parkway Flats community!

Maegan was so helpful answering questions and walking me and my roommates through the process of applying and moving into Parkway Flats Apartments. She answered any questions I had and was always very quick in her response time to anything we needed. She made the process much easier and less stressful. I really appreciate everything she did to help us find our new home! Other staff I talked to were also very helpful as well!

Not worth the $$$$. No balcony and can't even open the living room "door" because there isn't even a screen. Pool is closed more than it is open . And third floor walk up is for the birds. Oh yeah. Its real fun having your car vandalized also. And management cares LESS ABOUT PUTTING UP SOME CAMERAS that are a deterrent to this activity. Nor do they answer emails regarding this

I rented here for a year and have to say it is an excellent place to live! The apartments are very new and the staff is super responsive and caring.
I have lived in 4 apartment complexes in the past 4 years and this staff has bested all the rest! They respond to emails promptly and are typically pretty good about answering the phone / returning voicemails. Their office hours are reasonable and reliable.
The amenities are good... nothing special but let's be honest, it's Michigan, the pool is usable for like 5 months out of the year max. The gym is a very standard gym as apartments go. There is also a little walking trail that I made great use of most of the year round.
The apartments are quite nice and have typical higher-end stainless steel appliances. The washer and dryer in my unit were excellent.
Maintenance staff is knowledgeable and dependable. I can't think of a request that took more than 1 work day for them to address. You see them around the complex frequently.
The only downside I can think of for this complex is the total cost of living here. The rent is what it is and in my opinion is worth the premium relative to what you will pay at the other complexes in the West Kalamazoo area. The real kicker that caught me off guard is the AC/heating bills during very hot/cold months. In January/February in particular, I paid about $120 for heating my 1b/1b apartment to a reasonable 68 degrees (this was the highest it ever got). Similarly, I was seeing around $90 in June. So all in all, if you go in planning ahead for those costs and can still keep this place within your budget, I personally think this may be just about the best place to rent in Kalamazoo!

Just helped a friend move in here and immediately wished I was moving in myself! The affordability is incredible for how central this is to everything you may need or want, all the way to the amenities around the complex. New neighbors and employees alike all welcomed my friend into the complex like they were old friends and I can’t wait to see them thrive here!

Parkway Flats is a great place to live in. Very calming and quiet neighborhood, Everyone is really nice here and they really make you feel like home here. Groceries and restaurants are very close by too. Highly recommend it

Maegan was extremely helpful and went above and beyond during the move in process. She was always available to help answer numerous questions and would stay in constant communication with us to make sure the move in process went as smooth as possible. Upon move in, the apartment was spotless and looked great.

My wife and I have just moved into our apartment a week and a half ago. So far our experience has been incredibly positive.
From our first contact with Maegan to inquire about availability all the way until move-in day and beyond, she (and the rest of their office) has been very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Now that we have been living in our new home for some time, I can also say that the apartment is great. Very nice interior with updated amenities and pretty finishes, quiet and private living spaces and reasonably priced, we are very happy to have chosen Parkway for our time in Kalamazoo.

Maegan is extremely detail oriented and professional in her interactions with her clients. She pays attention to the specifics of your request and follows up with updates at each step of the process.
She has been really patient with me in answering all my questions, her responses are prompt and timely. It’s very nice to work with someone who truly cares, understands your needs and goes above and beyond with efforts to make sure everything is working out the way you want it.
My interaction with the property manager Chris was limited so far, but he was also very friendly when I walked in with some questions.
The units are well maintained and the common areas are also well kept.
Looking forward to my stay here at Parkway Flats.

I enjoy living here! The staff members are always friendly and very helpful. The apartments are spacious and modern. It's also dog-friendly, which is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Our pup loves the dog park here. Highly recommend this place!

I recently had the pleasure of getting to know Maegan at Parkway Flats and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. From the very first tour, everything was great. Maegan managed to answer all our questions, as well as while we were on the waitlist she managed to give us a weekly update with current availabilities which has been a stress-free experience. Maegan also reached out regularly to check in on us as well!
Even though, we ended up moving to a difference place than Parkway Flats, if anyone is thinking of moving into Parkway Flats, I sincerely recommend Maegan.
Thank you Maegan once again for making our house-hunting experience successful and enjoyable!

I was a resident of Parkway Flats for four years. I had moved to the area for work. I initially felt welcomed but it seemed management was like a revolving door and there was a new property manager every few months, so I rarely knew who was in charge. Although the apartment is non-smoking, they did not monitor the policy and the building I was in smelled like a mixture of cigarette and weed smoke every day. It was nice that they had a pool but the pool was under maintence frequently during peak hours , I rarely got to enjoy it. For the price, it was not worth it, there are better options in Kalamazoo.

Me & my family moved to Kalamazoo recently. I was looking for a good apartment that is clean, good location, quiet, and closer to grocery stores. I had filtered couple of apartments during my apartment hunting and I personally felt Parkway flats stood out by fulfilling all my expectations. All the employees working Bry, Daina, & Maegan in Parkway flats are awesome to interact with and they're very welcoming & friendly. Diana made sure our approval & move-in process was smooth without any problem. Work order turnaround time is lighting fast here!! Any problem they resolve it within few hours.
Only thing that was strange for me was not having lights in living room & the bedrooms and also I observed that our electric bill is pretty high even without us staying here for 20days!!!
