Be prepared to wait outside for like 6 years and 8 months before you actually get let into the building. And it's very difficult to actually get anything accomplished because it's not very organized. But at least (most of) the staff is friendly. And they actually do go out of their way to feed the homeless, which is more than I can say about most of the "outreach programs" I've encountered around the nation.

A place to go when you're homeless and get help for things you may need such a shower or lunch a social worker or someone to check your health. Even can wash your clothes

I was homeless for 4y and went to this day shelter when I was in kzoo. I will say that compared to other cities in Michigan most have no place to go during the day so I give ministry's credit for being there for the homeless. BUT the food is terrible!! And barely enough to survive the day on. The staff at the counter are great but the ones who are their to supposedly help with housing etc suck!! They are useless. Half the time they ain't got a clue for anything. I needed an id, but it was during covid. No one could help or give me any guidance. Come to find out I could go right across the street and get a county id for free!! But it took another homeless person to give me this information that the staff could not! I had no id at all, at least the county one had enough info on it that I could now prove who I was! But yet none of the staff could help me with that! So again a good place to shower, do laundry and sit. But food and staff NOT!

A day shelter. There are a number of good people there. But do not expect all of the staff to be helpful. Many have an elitist mentality, which is funny because they are one step above the homeless they serve.
They have social services.
As with all things. You get out of this place what you put in.

This place helps a lot of homeless people i would recommend making a donation here because they truly do a lot for homeless people including feeding them ?

They offer a greatly needed service to the community, my only criticism is some of the employees are completely unprofessional and some are down right borderline abusive and discriminatory¡!
