I went here today to rent a rug doctor and had a horrible customer service experience. Ended up walking out in the middle of the transaction-The lady at the service desk was so nice until it came time to sign papers.She over charged me for a two day rental- and when I questioned it she literally threw the paper work at me from across the desk and then told me that “it was too late and it was already in the system.”Their website states that 2 day rentals are 49.99- and when she handed me an invoice for $91 I wanted to verify.I asked her to give me a second and pulled out to my phone to which she replied “I don’t know what your doing the price is the price. She rolled her eyes, huffed and puffed, and threw paperwork at me from across the desk. I understand they were a little busy- I worked retail for 10 years so I getIt. I was also in management for 4 of those 10 years and know that this type of behavior is unacceptable. I will no longer be going to this store if this is how they want to act when customers have questions about being over charged.

Smiles, eye contact, politeness, good smelling. Could update lumber ordering process, and install zipline in lumber yard would be a nice touch.

We USED to use Menards for almost all of our business purchases. We do remodel and insurance work so we're there almost daily. My boss said that we got almost 5k in rebates last year and that something because we're horrible about the rebates. Point is, now we'll be going to Lowe's. They've made it near impossible to get your items refunded even when you're just trying to get them credited back onto the card. We do most of our purchasing online and then our guys go pick the materials up. But now you can't use any of that paperwork you get nor the purchase emails to get your materials returned and your account credited. Our guys will have to get a mobile printer now in order for us to send them the paperwork JUST to get the money put back on the account. And meanwhile they will treat your people like thieves even when they have all the documentation INCLUDING the paper pick up order with the pick up receipt. It's mind boggling. Well...they just lost a good daily customer and I hope they get their act together.

I had ordered 3 sections of 6'x8' privacy fence to be delivered to my home. The delivery driver dropped them off at the wrong location. I was out of town for a few days so my neighbor had to deal with this material just leaned up against their garage for those days. The response I received when i messaged Menards is that the Delivery Driver mistakenly delivered it to the neighbors house and leaned them against his garage, something that my neighbor, whom I do not know, had to deal with. Thats it. No resolution other than I go get them and move them to my house. After messaging them back and requesting a refund on my delivery cost, they told me no because the delivery was made. The most they would do was a $25 "convenience" fee. I asked them to just process a return and come pick up the fence pieces and they told me that I could not do that either.This is very disappointing. Typically I go to menards for all of pretty much all of my materials and tools I need.

As the owner of a commercial mechanical contracting company my employees and I shop at this Menards daily and generally have a good experience. Yesterday I had a bad experience at this location. I paid for merchandise that I did not receive. I purchased 5 packages of 10 plug and play T12 LED 48" light bulbs for my workshop, totalling a little over $300. Upon installing them I found that one of the packages was opened and missing 4 bulbs. This makes sense because they are also sold individually in packaged of 2 bulbs and someone must have removed the bulbs for individual purchase. I traveled back to the store with the box, and receipt and explained what happened to the employee. She basically said tough luck, I can't issue a refund for something I can't see. I didn't argue with her and had to spend over $30 on 4 new bulbs. I am submitting this review in hope that others will read it and be sure to triple check the items you are purchasing and make sure they have not been tampered with because this store could care less about stealing customers hard earned money.

ordered cabinets to redo my kitchen and has taken them over 2 months to get the last 3 in. was told they’d be in on a certain day then go in on that day and they weren’t in. half of the employees i talked to didn’t even know what they were doing.

Love Menards. They have similar products to Lowe's and Home Depot but their quality seems better and they have unique items that the others don't have.

George in electrical was very helpful but the they at the front service desk was rude and being racist about something your suppose to do inside the store!

Had to walk around to find help. Most employees do not offer to help.My phone will not work in the building so the app was not much help. Maybe i needed to get on Menards wifi.

Helpful friendly people…which I usually can’t find in other big box stores. Incredible selection and decent prices. I could spend hours in this place. It’s a problem-solver’s paradise.
