They misclassify you as an independent contractor to save money on taxes while having you do work meant for employees. There's a 20 item IRS checklist to differentiate independent contractors from employees and KLTC delivery drivers fit 3/20 for independent contractor, 15/20 for employee, and 2/20 are not applicable.I worked here for 1 year, and the manager is a fool. If he wasn't friends with the owner, JG would have been fired a long time ago. I created a Google docs that would streamline the process and offered services for free to improve the digital quality at this pharmacy but JG took the lazy route, spouting "sooner rather than later" for 8 months when talking about changes. The introduction to tablets was a complete failure. You're paid 23.50/hour (before taxes), no mileage reimbursement. If you drive a company vehicle, you get $15/hour (before taxes). If you do an emergency delivery, you get $0.55/mile(before taxes). The IRS doesn't mess around. It won't be long before someone takes legal action.

Easy job to do. But think before you work here. The dispatch staff is rude and terrible at communicating. If you work for this company make sure that you have this job as secondary job and make sure to save all of your paperwork. DO NOT use their company vehicle if offered because they will charge you $10 hour even if they make a mistake by scheduling you for a route your vehicle can not deliver for. They only pay for mileage is if you are a stat driver otherwise you will only be paid hourly which isn't much for the wear and tear on your vehicle. I would recommend going to a different delivery company to work to get your money worth.

Very disappointed in this company. We have not used this pharmacy since 2015 yet we just received a huge bill that was supposedly mailed out in error due to their use of a new billing service. They said that invalid bills went out to many of their patient/customer base. That being the case, they are probably in for a huge windfall since the people paying the bills on behalf of elderly patients (their primary customer) will no doubt go ahead and pay them anyway.
