My experience with Hayes Mazda was disappointing and frustrating. They held my car for an excessively long time, from 8 AM till past noon, and then from 2 till 5. Despite doing repairs on my car, they failed to address the check engine light, which should have been a basic part of the service. To make matters worse, they let me drive the car with multiple dash lights still on, showing a lack of attention to detail. The car stalled out less than 1,000 feet from the dealership, in the middle of traffic. The service manager witnessed the entire ordeal but didn't intervene to resolve the issue. Adding to the annoyance, they charged me almost $1,000 in two transactions. I had to take the initiative and reach out to the service manager to schedule another appointment. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with their service and the negative escalation of the situation.

Poor dealership. They don't communicate well. I asked them to book a CX-5 for me, they took my documents for credit application but never got back. They delayed the process and then asked me to check back in 7 days. When I called them after 7 days, the representative was on "vacation". After coming back, he still said that the application is under review. While all of this was happening, I got the same application for the same car approved from Fox Mazda, and they delivered the car to my place without further ado.

The customer service has been above and beyond. The staff goes out of their way to provide exceptional service. I travel for work and currently don’t live in the area and they have bent over backwards to accommodate. I worked with frank and he’s the best. I would definitely recommend Hayes to anyone and I will be a customer for life.Service: Body & Trim

i have been taking my 2019 CX9 there for service. a couple of weeks back i took my car for 30K service. i was told at the end of the service that everything looked good etc etc. i start driving and keep hearing this whistling sound coming from underneath my car. i call them and they gave me appointment after 2 weeks. after checking i was told that my rear brakes are at 1mm and its dangerous for me to drive the car. upon asking why was this not caught during the 30k service, they told it might have happened after the service event. are you kidding me...brakes got to dangerously low level after driving the car for 3 weeks? and you didnt see that they were at low level during inspection? i will not be using them again. worst service ever.Services: Oil change

I used to LOVE Orrin B Hayes when I had my Mercedes serviced there. Their Mazda service department, on the other hand is a complete nightmare. I dropped my brand new car (less than 5k miles on it) there over 2 weeks ago now to have a braking issue looked at. I was told that it would be looked at the following Thursday. I called that day and was told that "The technician was looking at it now" and that they would call me back with an update. I was never called back. I called the next day and was told, "the technician is working on your vehicle now" and we will call you when it is done. No call back. So I call the following Monday (today) at 11am. No call back. After several more calls I finally spoke to a manager (Mike) who was completely unhelpful and didn't call me back either. Finally, a few minutes before 5, I get a call telling me that they think the loud thudding in my brakes is caused by "rust" on the rotors, which is just ridiculous. Now I have to wait another day to have them try out their theory about rust (which could NOT cause the issue I am having) and they told me that if that doesn't fix the problem, they are going to have to order new parts, which will take more time. Its now been 2 weeks that I have been without a car, and the Mazda dealership couldn't care less. In their words, "Well get to it when we can get to it..." AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COSTS!!!Service: Brakes

Took a car to their service department on a Thursday to get a $95 oil change at the dealership because we want to ensure they are checking over the car every chance they get. Okay, I paid twice the going rate for an oil change but whatever. When we left the dealership the next day the engine light comes on. We schedule an appointment for the following Friday to take it back in for service under warranty and they attempt to charge us $110 for an hour to discover that the gas cap was left off sometime between when it was oil changed and the time we could get in for warranty service. Since there was not anything wrong with the car they have to charge us. They knocked it down to $55 for them to tell us that. Keep your $55, never need your service or support again. Or your $91 oil changes. Love the car, don't need this. Never had this level of poor service at any Mazda dealership, ever. I can understand if it was out of warranty and we brought it in for you to diagnose, but this is just a bad decision.

Chris sold me two cars in the last four years a Mazda and a Mercedes, he got me a great deal and I love the cars so much! Best purchase I have ever made. The whole service team is great! Bill who is a service manager, I believe, knows what he is talking about and is super helpful in person or over the phone. I just got my oil changed and tires rotated they did a great job, and gave me a loaner car in the time while I waited. Great service and very responsive.
