Manager at this store has a serious attitude issue. Profiles just about anyone who walks in with nasty comments. Doesn't seem like this location gets much business. Gee I'm sure it has nothing to do with the unprofessional manager working it /sarcasm

I went to this location's store and a woman working was very rude to me. While I was browsing the store she kept walking around making negative comments about me under her breath and giving me dirty looks. I heard her say to another employee that she was keeping an eye on me because I look suspicious. I was there to make a purchase but decided not to and left, her behavior was unsettling and unprofessional

very disappointed by pricing...did not buy anything. workers were polite but selection was not the best. i saw several new in packaging dollar tree items being sold for like $5 which is really disappointing...clothes were ok but nothing was really special.

I like shopping and do most women; however, I can't afford to purchase new clothes today as I could do back in the day. I started going to Goodwill about a year ago. I don't usually like the smell inside, but I can always wash the clothes I purchase, so I have been trying to stay frugal and conservative in my clothing choices during this economic down-turn. What I find insulting, however, is that I found out that Goodwill's used clothing prices were higher than expected. In fact, most items start at $5.50/piece and go up from there. That's actually a lot of of money to be paying for used clothing. Most in my area are also not used quality brand names, but Target, Meijer, Walmart, etc. brand clothing items. If Goodwill gets everything given to it for free, why does it need to charge so much for used clothing? Where does this price point come from? When I go to a neighborhood yard sale, I might find $1/piece items and I've seen $3/piece items. But $5.50/piece+ is taking advantage of the free stuff you get from people and the end point consumer. You also aren't a real charity. You are a business. And that's also a shame.

First time customer for this location. Store was clean and organized. More than half of the viewable square footage is clothes and it's priced a bit high for what it is. It appears that there is a lot more to the store but they have many rooms closed to the public. There are two rooms and one hallway that connects them open with items for sale which is not much.

Ridiculous that the 50% store is still closed. Stop staying you don't have employees.. have you even ran ads to hire anyone there? Maybe try paying better wages. What are you doing with the items that normally would go there? I know personally your company throws perfectly good items away. Glass gets broken so you don't have dumpster divers. You have raised prices so much it's not worth shopping at the other 2 stores. Open this location and help those that need it in \"Kalamazoo \" stop sending things to the landfill

Closed.......nice! The 50% off store is closed but sure they're still accepting donations. How else are they going to pay their CEO a 6 million a year salary? Non-profit charity lol.

Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan just reopened. I was encouraged when I saw signs requiring social distancing and masks on the entrance door and the employee wearing a face shield. However, upon entry I saw open public restrooms and no other employees in sight. Two other customers in store were wearing masks, but three additional people came in without masks not practicing any social distancing and there was zero enforcement. ZERO. Even management was NOT WEARING A MASK!!! I also noticed there was no occupancy limit or someone counting how many people are in the store at a time. In addition, there were several patrons flowing in with no masks, and not covering their cough. That one employee had to handle all the customer interactions including money. No one was cleaning carts, enforcing that customers wear a mask, wiping down door handles, nothing. That one employee wearing a mask and those signs on the door are strictly for show and without enforcement and enough personnel to keep space clean, that environment is designed to spread a virus.I am seriously debating calling the Health Department on each branch until this is STRICTLY CORRECTED!!!! I will not return and I plan to strongly encourage others to choose a different thrift store for thrir fonation/job/purchasing needs, and to stay away until these dangerous practices change permanently. I am absolutely irate that a company who preaches about helping others and providing opportunities for all, is putting not just those in desperate need, but EVERYONE at risk!!!! Masks and sanitization only work if everyone practices it. How careless and selfish can a company be, to be willing to endanger the lives if their employees and patrons, as well as anyone who is exposed due to an interaction. This is unacceptable and cruel. I will NEVER deal with this festering cesspool again. It is not worth risking due to zero regular sanitization practices, no social distancing, no capacity limits, and expecting a sign on the door to do the work.

Some may not like this review, but some will relate...This industry originally started with the less fortunate in mind, now it's become very competitive with other consignment shops and the prices reflect..I've heard some ladies comment that they can't afford to go there anylonger..Every one is out to make a buck, but at what cost...

Goodwill's prices are too high when you consider that everything is a donation. They need to have more than 1 day with 1/2 off everything in the store. Bring back everything in the huge boxes is 1/2.
