They do quick work, but very overpriced, both parts and labor. My recommendation: ask for an itemized quote before agreeing to their price. I was quoted for "replacing the strut mounts" and an alignment on my vehicle. I was charged $612 for a quoted 2.8hrs (1.4hrs per side), which matched the ALLDATA time I looked up when I got home. That's $218/hr labor (pre-tax). This price was just for that particular job (strut mount replacement), the alignment was separately charged as a single line item (which was also high in my opinion at $210 for the lifetime alignment, I think the non-lifetime was $170). Turns out they didn't just replace the strut mounts, but actually installed two quick strut assemblies. They charged $360 for each Monroe quick strut assembly (I haven't heard good things about Monroe quick struts) . Later found I could've gotten them delivered to my house, same day for $120 each. I get that auto shops usually charge ~x2 the price of parts, but x3 is excessive. My guess is that replacing strut mounts usually involves disassembly/reassembly of the strut assembly which would leave most of the OEM parts (e.g. compress the spring, unbolt the mount, etc.). Here they figured they can make more money by slapping in a whole new strut assembly while charging the same amount in labor as would take for the dis/reassembly and also make more money on parts because the strut mount would be cheaper than the quick strut. All-in-all they completed the work quickly and weren't too busy, but very overpriced. $1600 total for replacing two strut assemblies and alignment.

Scheduled a diagnostic because this was one of the only places open on weekends. They were able to get me in Friday morning instead (the next morning). I thought I'd have to wait even longer, so that was a happy surprise. All the parts were in stock, so I only had to wait an hour or so for a repair that took other shops two days in the past. Incredible service and a really friendly manager (Lewis). He explained everything that caused the issue and gave me some stuff to watch for in the future. I'm so pleased, and I'll definitely return the next time I need a repair.Edit: I smelled some burning oil a couple days later, so I took it back. They got me in immediately and determined it was a loose bolt from the repair. They replaced the bolt and put some Lock-Tite on it so it wouldn't happen again. Thanks, Anthony!

Was in Kalamazoo for a visit when my car decided to not start on a Sunday. We were supposed to leave the following day so was in a panic about who to contact. The only repair shops open on Sunday is Firestone so I called them. I actually called the other shop in town but had my car towed to this location. Fortunately, my car got there before they closed and I got a call from their service manager so I could explain what was going on. They worked on it first thing in the morning and did a full check on the battery, alternator and starter. Turned out my battery had a bad cell so they quickly replaced that. I was very pleased with their service.

The employees at this location are SCAMMERS! Don't be fooled by them! I took my recently purchased vehicle to them for a simple oil change and they claimed that the oil plug was stripped, that there were metal shaving around the plug, and that the vehicle needed a whole new oil pan replacement. They were going to charge me over $600to have the oil pan replaced!I called the dealership where i bought the vehicle, and they wanted to check it out to make sure it wasnt something they overlooked, and not to allow firestone to do any further work. This morning i took the car back to the dealership so they could look at it. They offered to replace any parts for free! Within minutes they told me there was absolutely nothing wrong with the threads on the oil plug, there were no metal shavings, there was no leak. They said Firestone was trying to scam me!I'm glad i called my dealership!

Look I know they have a bad rep... Haven't been there in a few years. The last two visits I had I chose them because they were close and let me say management has changed and the service was great...I had my bad times but I think they turned a new leaf, and got rid of their problem employees. I will definitely go back again next time

B. C. Firestone are a very shifty business to deal with. Many years ago I purchased a lifetime alignment . Two years ago I installed new front end parts tie rod and such . I returned a year later to get a alignment and I was told I had a l.f. bering going bad as well as l.f. tie rod end that also was bad . Cost was well over $400.00 . Both discribed parts were barely a year old . I've been waiting to take a trip to Kalamazoo to see what there diagnosis will be . Bottom line , I feel that because I have this contract , they will keep trying to railroad me . B. C. Firestone refused to do the alignment because the new parts were worn out !!! Barely a year old with less than 4,500 hundred miles driven . I guess we'll see what another opinion brings . Maybe a filed B. B. B. !
