Nice hotel when visiting Kalamazoo. It's got a "former Holiday Inn" feel.

I only give 5 stars for service because check in and check out staff was very friendly and welcoming.
To travelers on a business trip this hotel is conveniently close to the airport, however, there're other options nearby aswell.
The main problem with this location for me was the rooms, some rooms have bugs on it, I requested a change of room and they did change me to another one, they said it was due to the season and those are box bugs but still it was horrible, besides that, the shower on my new room was clogged, so the water never when down. I spent the night because I had an early flight in the morning but definitely would not recommend this location to anyone.

There were FBI agents having a swingers party in the room next to me. They kept talking about kidnapping the governor. Weird ?♂️

Staff is very nice. Our bathroom was in desperate need of a deep clean. Hair all over the floor. Major water damage behind toilet. Stained carpet and walls. Stained pillows.

Dirty rooms and blankets and they don’t tell you that your kids can’t go swimming. They only give you four passes so if you got more kids, you gotta purchase extra room to get more passes.when that should have not been the case staff some are rude
Rooms: , not sanitary

As a business customer you want more for the deposit than you do for the actual room that makes no sense don't stay here it's not worth it everything there is expensive

I chose this hotel over my usual hotel because of the hot tub. Unfortunately I was not able to use it. The first day I went, it was full of water and running, but it was closed. The second day, it was completely drained. I did have the pool to myself both days, though.
I chose a room leading to the Atrium. It was great not having to walk down a hall way and across the hotel to get to the pool.
The free breakfast was great. I loved being able to choose any entree from the breakfast menu. Although, an explanation of how it worked at check in would have been nice. I didn't recieve my vouchers until my second day, when I booked my room for another night.
My room was clean and comfy. A chair would have been nice to sit in, though. I didn't really like having to sit on the bed all the time. The desk chair was comfortable, but I didn't want to sit in it to relax and watch t.v. A microwave in the room would have been nice as well.
The fridge was the perfect size.
The hotel was generally quiet. Children in the Atrium were noticeable, but I loved the sound of children's laughter.
I live in Kalamazoo and I knew where the hotel was, but I still drove past the entrance. The sign is very small and hard to see.
All staff members were very friendly. I have no complaints about any one.
Overall, I loved this hotel and will definitely choose it again when I need a mini staycation.

Whoever designed this hotel, making half the first-floor rooms face the pool (including windows and secondary doors), smoked too much wacky tobacky.
That concept might work at a destination resort hotel in a spring-break town where literally everyone is there to party. It does not work at a business hotel/conference center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where weekends bring large groups of kids for sports tournaments. No one, and I mean NO ONE, wants to hear kids screaming, chasing each other around, bouncing basketballs off any and every hard surface available, and slamming doors well into the night. Not the parents who let them run amok, and certainly not guests who were in town for unrelated reasons and had no idea what they were walking into.
I am giving two stars in this review because the manager on duty tried to make things right for us, moving us to a more secluded room on a higher floor as soon as one became available. Unfortunately, one of our new neighbors had an all-night drinking party that involved loud wrestling matches, followed by lots of "OHHHH" when something or someone came crashing down. By that time, anyone who might have done anything about it had gone home.

We were checked in by a nice gentleman named Page(not sure of the correct spelling). He was very nice and helpful. I came back down later to ask a question and he remembered my name, which was nice. He also cheerfully greeted anyone coming in.

Rude staff, dirty room. Recommend you go elsewhere
Rooms: Dirty and what looks like red nail polish stained all over carpet

Staff was friendly. We were placed by the pool. Loud until almost midnight. Then when we went to bed we discovered the blankets had this inside....I was so disturbed. Then the office offered us new ones with the same issue. The blankets were yellow. I woke up the next day itching.

I was double charged for my stay on top of 100 dollar deposit. Was told it would take me up to 30 days to receive my money back. No hot water Wednesday and Thursday. Only good thing they have to offer is the bartender and her manager was really nice and went beyond for me and my fiance
Rooms: No hot water
