WOWWWW. Soooo good! Everything here is amazing. They have a little coffee shop with lattes, mochas, smoothies, fraps. They have a hot sub bar and it’s AMAZING. I had a hot turkey sub and the turkey is so fresh. It’s seasoned so well. The flavors were outstanding. It was only 8.99 for a sub! They serve hot fresh cookies daily and they are bomb. They have hot soups and other hot foods. I recommend every one I know to come here. They have tamales. It’s a small hidden spot. Hard to find parking but I’d walk a little for this good food. I just went to a bakery down the road hoping for a nice fresh food and it was terrible. I’m so happy I came here instead! The people are soooo nice!

Sasha was very helpful, she heated a pizza for us which isn't what they usually do. She went out of her way for our lunch plans and we greatly appreciated her customer service!

Wow. What kind and caring service by the owner, Habib. This market is clean, welcoming, and has a great variety of many treats and necessities. My partner came across his favorite chocolates, Baci, which was a pleasant surprise, we had a scrumptious baklava, and we also discovered a delicious mushroom beverage. Overall, recommended.

Yesterday I went into City Centre and I was starving. I was expecting the hot bar to be open but it missed it and I was about to leave until Sasha offered to make a hot sandwich. Sasha was so helpful and answered every single question I asked regarding ingredients available. She was also patient with me because I wanted a pickle with my sandwich and she looked through the jar to find the biggest one. Sasha is the reason why I completed a purchase yesterday, she's an asset to City Centre because she can make anyone feel welcomed!

Perfect little spot to grab some lunch or even a quick shopping trip to snag that one item you forgot earlier in the day. The fresh baked cookies, hot bar, salad bar, and sandwich station are such wonderful additions too.

I got a drink that was apparently mispriced as they charged me a higher amount. When I asked about it, said just most been in the wrong spot and rang it up anyways. No effort seen to reorganize. Most things seemed over priced. Staff wasn’t very friendly.

Today I visited the City Centre Market & Deli in Kalamazoo and had a terrible experience. There were two employees working behind the deli counter, one woman was making sandwiches and the other was making coffees while also taking payments. The employee making sandwiches took my order in a timely manner and informed me to order my coffee at the cash register while making payment. When I approached the cash register, I asked for an iced coffee and the woman informed me that I'd get an iced latte $ because the coffee was hot. I became confused and told her that I wanted an iced coffee, not a latte and then asked if the latte was cold, in which she did not answer. Instead she asked me if I wanted hot coffee watered down. That did not sound appealing to me so I said I'd order a Diet Pepsi. When my sandwich came I asked that employee if she knew how to make an iced coffee because the other worker didn't know how, and she agreed to make the iced coffee. When the second employee returned, the two started discussing the fact that I accused her of not knowing how to make the iced coffee. The woman turned to me and started a verbal argument saying she made me an iced coffee and next thing I knew I had three drinks in front of me. I became even more confused and frustrated and left the restaurant without paying (or eating). I'm not sure what the problem was and it's almost laughable to bring this up. I feel the waitress was discriminating against me, after I thought about the situation, not to mention I left hungry with no apology. When I called to speak to a manager, she wasn't in and the employee demanded to know what I was calling about making it even more anxious for me to want to deal with this server. Horrible service and I won't be returning in order to save my sanity.
