Worst place I have ever been. This is the fifth month that I have moved here and the problems of this apartment never got solved. Whenever I put a work order , I receive an email of the work order completion but in-fact the work is not done . Since i have moved here, beside so many other problems, my shower tap is not working well. When I turn on the tap it never turns off back till I push hard and hold it for a long time to get it off. Today the water is running for two hours and I could not turn it off. I tried to call the leasing office many times and I am still waiting for the emergency maintenance to come and turn off the water. I wish I would not choose to rent an apartment here.

Honestly, we had a rocky start with Candlewyck. We moved into a unit with issues, both maintenance and cleaning. But since they have done a turn on office staff, it has been a MUCH better experience. Natasha is awesome! She is proactive, genuinely cares about the tenants and acknowledges all issues in a timely manner. We appreciate her communication and commitment ☺️

A wonderful residential complex, we feel comfortable and safe, and their services are good. I thank the administration and thank Brother Raed for his good work. Any time we ask him, he is available and any problem, whether large or small, immediately seeks to solve it.

I would not recommend anyone to get an apartment here. It took 9 months for them to actually give me an answer of them fixing my balcony that was clearly rotting off the side of the building. It also took them 6 months of me calling just to get them to remove a washer that was full of stagnant water and broken from what my neighbor told me of august of last year. They don't answer phone calls or problems unless you withhold rent. It got to the point where I contacted the BBB to try and get some of the issues figured out. And BTW the washer still isn't fully operational.

There is a sinkhole in the parking lot, the hallways smell like weed, there was a dirty diaper that sat in the hallway for two weeks and no one touched it. There have been gunshots in the apartments and the police have been there several times. I would not live here if you are looking to get a good nights sleep. Only good part is the maintenance so one star. Everything breaks so they are kept busy. Not to mention the cockroaches. Not worth what they are asking you to pay for this.

Took 2 WEEKS and several phone calls AND in-person visits for me to get a garage. Is in the wrong section, and completely filthy. The door doesn't lock either.
Half of my maintenance requests are completely ignored. I don't hear a single word back. Nothing.
They spray chemicals on the grass and have refused to tell several people I know around here exactly what chemicals are being sprayed. Dogs have gotten sick pretty frequently around here.
They raised rent 15% despite having 50 year old apartments and making ZERO updates.
Received a partial security deposit refund despite patching all holes, cleaning the walls, everything. Emailed the manager for an itemized list of damages and surprise, I'm being ignored.
After posting this review they canceled all my maintenance requests. If that's the treatment you want then by all means, live here.
2 year update, I will mention a few more things. 1, *I* was the one the vacuumed the entire floor, and down the steps. I got zero money and just didn't want to live in a slum. 2, I have a drone and have footage of all the garbage and freeon and hazmat "thrown away" on nearly every roof. It's not safe and probably illegal. Candlewyck is a slum. They'll charge you nearby mortgage prices and the owners will pocket 90% of it. 3, I've seen staff, *and managers,* move in and out of there Luke nobody's business.
Most importantly, after seeing my bad review they hit me with several thousand dollars in damages and fines or whatever. I got a lawyer and they backed down, but most people can't get a lawyer and so even after you leave they'll hit you for money. This place is owned by slumlords.
In short, you'll regret living here. It's in a good location, and was fine 20 years ago when people cared, but you will hate your decisions if you move here in the modern era.
