Our doctors at Bronson are amazing, and I've had great surgeries and care there. This was the first time I used the pharmacy as an outpatient. My doctor suggested they'd be fast, which is a good thing when you're waiting for an antibiotic. Here's the unusual thing: the pharmacy is located IN the gift shop! Yep. The staff were very friendly and kind. There are only four chairs for waiting, which was unexpected, given that it is a pharmacy and people aren't well. I had two prescriptions, and they weren't filled at the same time. The first one was filled very quickly (thank you!), but the very nice woman helping me and I were both surprised that the second hadn't been filled. She sent for it, and meanwhile, a slew of people came in, which meant 7 people in front of me when my name was called, and some tension with people in line between names being called and people already waiting in line. Uff. I will note that everyone working there was friendly and professional, and my 3 star rating is based on having to wait longer and stand in line twice. I am sure this happens infrequently. As a side note, besides gifts in the gift shop, you can buy otc meds, medical supplies, makeup, personal hygiene items, and the like.
