Had Surgery on11/30/23. Surgery went good no problem with that. But when I woke up it felt like someone punched me in my mouth. And now I have a loose tooth. And now I have to wait 7 to 10 business days to hear from their insurance company then have set up appointment to get it pulled. Next time I'm going to grand rapids and getting things done. Now I have to waste my money to get my tooth pulled. Not waiting 2 week or more to get tooth pulled that take just takes minutes to set up. They will do whatever they can to take your money right away but they will take their sweet time to fix their mistake. So they won't have pay out. Don't waste your time at this hospital

My review is based on their customer service. It's farmed out offshore to the Philippines. The representatives are hard to understand and can't help you. I made 2 $45 payments to two different specialists. I've provided of my canceled checks and they can't locate my payments. They have me in Collections. All there back off staff for billing is offshore. Please call the CEO of the hospital and tell them we don't want offshore representatives.UPDATE: After my review they are asking me to fill out a form so someone from billing can contact me.That's the problem....Their Billing Dept. Why do I want to talk to them, I've been talking to them for over 2 months and nothing has been done.

i was treated for surgical and post-op care. the doctors, nurses and therapy specialists were compassionate and skilled. requests for assistance were promptlyattended to. all interventions and activities were well-explained and competently preformed. hospitals are never the best places for rest as care, assessments and procedures carry on throughout the day and night. in spite of this i felt that the staff were uniformly committed tomaking my stay and recovery as complete and easy as possible. thank you to all the staff involved in my recovery.

Bree Krissy Collette and Jennifer was some of the best nurses I've seen in a while, I had total knee replacement and they were on it as for my pain and other medications I needed. They checked in on me and made sure I was always comfy. I didn't wanna leave. But I will say Dr. Ryan did a excellent job on my knee surgery and after care. Thank you so much Borgess. Delores Bates

Fantastic. Good work deserve a recommendation. I have been trading with this broker for over a month and so far all seems consistently well. I like this company they are reliable and professionals. Miss Gracie Maverick is one of my all-time favorites. she replies promptly and most importantly in the right manner. I feel confident trading with her platform and I can rely on this company to succeed in my trades. with an investment of $1,000 i made a profit of $9,500 in a week of trading. I advice the entire public to invest with this wonderful company contact Email:

I went in for a hernia repair. Pre op care was 5/5, OR team was phenomenal 5/5, recovery care was 5/5, but the only problem that brings the overall rating to a 3/5 is the discharge and no on-call staff. During recovery I was given pain medication and a prescription was sent to my pharmacy, but I was not given medication to leave with. I was discharged around 3 pm and I had a notification from my pharmacy that my prescription is delayed. I found out around 4:45 pm that my pharmacy (and all other locations in the area) does not have any of the pain medication in stock. I call the surgery office to have this sent to another pharmacy around 4:55 pm (office closes at 5 pm). I’m told everyone has left and the prescription can’t be sent to another pharmacy until the morning. I’m told this will be taken care of first thing in the morning. I later call again around 6:30 to try to speak to on-call staff due to my pain increasing. I follow the prompt to transfer to the on-call line but the call ends and drops immediately. I try this again multiple times over the course of an hour and the same result. The following morning I call the office when they open and I’m told the person who can send in the prescription is occupied and is not able to send it until approximately 10-10:30 am. I’m notified at 11 am the prescription was sent in to a new pharmacy and am waiting for it to be filled. My discharge instructions stated I’d be able to take the stronger pain medication at 8 pm the day of my surgery, but I was unable to get it and I went the night without it due to this apparent lack of communication and notification between both the pharmacy and office. I was hoping to have it resolved the following morning but it has still taken longer than expected.I hope next time I have a procedure with this medical group, I am sent home with the critical medications or there is confirmation I will obtain it by the end of business day.

I had cardiac ablation last week and received exemplary care. As an old nursing instructor, I can say without hesitation that my caregivers, Kathy and Jennifer, were the embodiment of the art, science and spirit of nursing. Kudos to all the staff, but these two stand out.

I was in extreme pain when I came in. I explained my symptoms and they wasted no time and keyed in immediately what was wrong. They were very busy in the er that nite but everyone was very helpful and treated me with kindness and compassion. I had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. Nick and Maria and the whole er staff went above and beyond even during the busiest times and kept me calm and reassured. Within 24 hrs I had met all my doctors and my surgeon and was scheduled for surgery. Everything went smoothly and on schedule. My recovery time after the surgery was minimal and was able to go home later that day! I’ve been home for a few days and feel great with minimal pain! This was definitely the best experience I’ve ever had at Borgess! What an amazing team you have! Thank you everyone that took care of me! 8/19

My husband was in for a heart cath yesterday and all went well. I was so very impressed with how well the heart institute is ran. We had a top notch cardiologist and support team. I especially want to give a shout out to Cody! Cody was extremely knowledgeable, kind, attentive to our needs and when he said he would be back in 10 minutes, he was! Thank you Borgess and THANK YOU Cody! You are wonderful!

I am so grateful for the care that I received. From the moment I entered the emergency room the care that I received was excellent. My vitals were not good and I couldn’t breathe well. They took me back and immediately began working on me. There were many tests run. CT scans, x-rays, EKG, Ultrasound and others I’ve forgotten. They found I had a saddle pulmonary embolism and began a drug to try to break up the clots. During this entire process my care was excellent. The nurses treated me with the greatest care and respect as did everyone that entered the room to help. Every person that came to do labs or tests were just as respectful and kind. The doctors were awesome. Dr. Lovey was wonderful. He put me at ease and kept me updated on everything as it happened, letting me know what to expect.I was transferred to the 7th floor NCU and the wonderful care continued. My nurse Beth was incredible. She was so kindhearted and caring. And all of the other nurses were wonderful. They had to work hard to keep my blood pressure up because it was extremely low. There were so many issues that I had but they kept me informed and worked on them. The next day Dr Katura went in and removed the Saddle P E.My care never changed. Everyone that had any part in my care from the housecleaning to the lab techs, to nurses, to interns, residents, and doctors and so many others, were always kind and respectful and helpful. I am forever grateful, thankful, and blessed for the wonderful care I received during my stay.I was told by many people, that usually people don’t survive what I survived. I know God was with me and spared my life.I also believe in the wisdom of the medical field, and know that they were doing all they knew to do which allowed me to leave the hospital very much alive. I am truly grateful for every single person that walked into my room. All were kind and caring.

I had a spinal surgery which went good. However, I am required to wear a clamshell brace and not all the staff on 2N floor and 3 West rehab are trained for this type of brace. So that was a huge issue. Nutrition department has good food and great staff, but there was a couple meals that had missing items or not in one instance not enough syrup for two big pancakes.

Recently had a procedure done at Borgess. Dr. Sharma did a great job! The people in the room with me (Nina, Katie, Sal, and John) were so nice and kept me distracted through my nervousness with a lot of laughter. Special thanks to my anesthesiologist, John who patiently listened to my concerns and was incredibly kind. I’m so grateful! Lastly, thank you to my nurse, Chris and my recovery nurse, Daisy. The whole experience was efficient, warm, friendly, and professional.
