From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcomed. We were here today for the first time and Jenny A was our server. She was so kind, sweet, helpful and had a good sense of humor and was just overall an amazing person to have (wish I could have had dinner with her as well lol)The food was delicious! Tried the battered cod dinner (havent had fried fish in years)? ( and im sorry i couldnt finish it all )My husband had the seared Ahi Tuna and the California roll. The virgin pineapple margarita? was delicious too, just too stuffed to make it down the hatch.Thank you for giving me and my husband a wonderful dinner.

We decided to give this place a shot for a date night, just me and my wife, she had the beer battered cod and I had the seared ahi tuna with a side of California rolls, and a shared key lime pie for desert, you can tell that the food is made by someone who cares about their profession, and you can tell that the waitress was happy where she worked, the entire staff was exceptionally professional the entire time adding in that bit of personality to make the experience fun and welcoming. If you decide to try this place out, I highly recommend that you request Jenny as your server. She did a fantastic job, and I have nothing but nice things to say about the entire evening.Thank you to the staff, the cook, and especially the server for making us feel welcome, being patient with us on the menus, being just the right amount of talkative and being kind.

Ok I'm not an oyster expert but I have had my share. I spilt my time between Rhode Island and Michigan. Where should I get the best. Huh. It's Michigan at the Deck Down Under. Who knew.

This is a great family style restaurant and bar. Parking is easy, and it is right on US 12.the menu leans to fish. The staff is fun and friendly.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids' menu, and the place is fun for a younger crowd.

I was visiting family out of town, and they took me here. Our waitress was very kind and answered several questions our party had about the menu. The food came out in a reasonable time and everything tasted great.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The service is amazing. The deco is fun. Great entertainment to read all of the signs while you wait for your food. The food is out of this world. The crab cakes are amazing are on their own, but then you add the dipping sauce, and OMG!!! The whitefish meal will not let you down. The fish is so soft and tasty, and on top of that amazing rice, you can't beat it. Also, had the country fried steak. The breading for the steak was delicious, but the smoked, pickled onions and greens on top were to die for. Then you add the creamy mashed potatoes with the truffles in it. When you're driving down US12 and looking for a place to stop, head that way. You will not be disappointed.

One of the better places to eat in the area as the options for decent restaurants is limited around here. I would recommend this place they have great crab cakes too.The perch had a lot of bones in it but the other Entrées were pretty good!

This is a great "local place." Located just west of Hwy 127 on US 12, the blue building is easy to spot. Because there isn't anything else close by! And any day that they are open (but especially on Friday and Saturday nights,) the parking lot will be packed. And consequently, you may have to wait for a booth or table especially if you have a group. A piece of advice: when the place is full, this will not be a place for a quiet conversation. But you will be surrounded by nice people having fun as they dine. An interesting aspect of this restaurant is its eclectic menu. If you cannot find something to eat here, you are just way too picky in your eating. Steaks, burgers, seafood, pasta, salads, appetizers of every variety, and special menus such as "Sushi Night" and "Throwback Thursdays." The latter is a listing of about 10 different dishes for $9.99 - you won't get huge portions off of this menu, but you won't go hungry either. The bar is busy and multiple TVs are there for the sports fan. The layout of the building is "interesting." If you need assistance via ADA, the route is circuitous but easy to navigate. In the warmer months, the patio is just as busy. Try it out!! It is worth the drive from anywhere around.
