I have had safe lite replace 2 windshields in the past 3 years. Both times scheduling was easy. I was able to make appointments according to my schedule and convenience. Service was excellent. Now I have to replace a 3 rd windshield. The drop and go schedule is poor. I live an hr and half away and cannot make the 9:30 drop off. Also I am not leaving an $80000 car sitting in their lot waiting for it's turn. Reaching a human being on the phone is almost impossible. This is not a consumer friendly operating procedure. I have since scheduled with another company over the phone with replacement on my time.

The best service ever! I work midnights they came and replaced my windshield and did not have to do anything. It was wonderful.

Well, we TRIED to use their service... my son originally scheduled an appointment for 8/24 at 8a-12p. He took the morning off and waited. They called at 10a and said the glass had arrived damaged and he'd have to reschedule. Oh, great. Thanks for the early heads up, but whatever. Once he was able to request another morning, he went in and rescheduled for 9/3 at 8a-12p. Then he got a text on 9/2 that said that appointment had been cancelled. Then another text soon after said the appointment was updated; a tech would still be coming on 9/3 but the time frame was now 8a-5p. Fantastic. Does he call off for the whole day now or cancel? At this point, he's invested and just wants to get this over with, so he calls off and waits. The tech shows up at 1:30... and says he doesn't have the right glass! Not sure what other information we could have given, answered all their questions and provided the VIN. So, now a week and a half later, he's half pointed out at work and still doesn't have his windshield repaired. Man. The only good thing I can say is the tech was polite

Came right to the house. Just handed him the keyes and a way he went (work on the windshield) he needed nothing from me except the check for the deductible. :( and the new window wipers. I was pleased!

Awesome thats all. They will come anywhere you are at. We where on vacation in the middle of nowhere and they changed our windshield.

Safelite replaced my windshield 8 months ago. Just got a chip in the shield the other day. Scheduled a repair for today. Noone has come to do thr repair. Assuming this is the case because of the replacement last year and because when I went online to check to see if someone was coming, all I get is that I had a replacement done back in September. I am really disgusted.

They came for a small windshield chip repair on my company car and the guy showed up, and as he was fixing the chip, the windshield cracked badly (gave benefit of the doubt, it could happen). Guy said they had to replace the windshield and someone would call me the next morning with their arrival time. Around 11am I never received a call so I called them to be told that they didnt have anything scheduled and they couldnt pull up my claim or anything. After arguing with them and being transferred multiple times I called my fleet company and asked for the claim # and they were upset so they called Safelite and the lady on the line miraculously found my claim and scheduled someone for the next day. But that's not it....when they came the next day and replaced the windshield, they left glass all over the yard. If it wasn't for it being a company car and in my companies name, my complaint wouldn't have been just this rating. I need a glass repair right now on another vehicle but I'm calling someone else!

we set an appointment from 8-12 and was told theyd be late. first we were told 1230 then 100 then 130. we set the appointment almost a week ago and you cant make the appointment time really. we are sitting waiting for you with things to do and you cant make a 3 hour window. i cancelled our appointment and will make sure everyone we know will hear about this. unbelieveable.
