Been craving Chef Salads from here for a couple weeks, because they've been great for the past couple years. We were going to grab a couple salads, then burgers, chicken, fries, potato wedges, and mac and cheese for the kids. We typically get a whole family meal about once a month. There was only one salad on the shelf, and we'd asked for a second one, being Chef Salads are on the menu, so the ingredients must have been in the store, unless all the stuff for Subs was gone as well.
Anyway, we asked for another, and was just told "Nope," then the owner went back to Eating in the side room, and the cashier didn't know anything about the food situation, so we left. We bought the one salad anyway, but wish we wouldn't have, seemed no one wanted to work to make the menu items, now I'm wondering how long the salad sat for.
You got $7.75, when we wanted close to $100 order, and would have needed to get a couple things of chocolate milk, some pops, and a couple packs of smokes, which would have been on top of the meal. Could've turned a profit to either keep or hire more workers that want to work. Everyone's loss, we drove there specifically for salads, when the kids really wanted McD's, but they also loved the chicken dinner and burgers. Kinda an all or nothing thing, I don't know why we got the one salad, but it would have been rude to just leave it at the counter.
The draw to going here was that it was a good restaurant, so it didn't matter that the general merchandise cost a little more than the gas station. There is too much competition for poor service.
RIP food stand, the magic has left the building.

Always hot and fresh chicken, daily specials, good fresh salads, really good breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos, top notch customer service, a daily stop for me

The staff here is friendly and always ready to take your order. I worried that switching owners may affect quality, however this place did not skip a beat! Chicken is second to none and the breakfast sandwiches keep me coming back every day.

Runway is a daily stop kind of place. Friendly staff, always a good vibe. And if you're hungry, they have great food at a decent price.

One of the good things about this place is that you can get in there with a semi it’s tight but you can get in there but you know what I can’t get in there when people that are driving. Cars are using up the whole semi parking lot, please tell your customers in cars to stay out of the semi parking lot so that guys in a semi I can come in there and get something to eat on their lunch.

Runway WAS our go-to spot, somewhere we could go that always WAS great.
Not anymore. Food quality is down, prices are up, and the attitude we were shown tonight after being customers for the past few years was absolutely terrible. We WERE big spenders in there, feeding our entire family. After today, never again.
I'm really not surprised there are so many negative reviews now that there's new ownership. The quality and customer service went out the door too.

This store has got down sense the new owners have taken over they dropped a lot of the items that they carry and now the won’t sale a 3 pice tinder I will never go back and give them any of my business. I went in and ask for a 3 pice tinder he said I can only sale u a 9 pice tinder I said really and he said yes and started laughing at me so I walked out and the attitude ur employees have is awful

Hands down this place is the best grab and go breakfast in town. Real eggs in the sandwich. Not no frozen McDonalds egg or scramblers used here. Left with 3 drinks, 2 burritos and a sandwich, all for $15. You'd spend the same at McDonalds for a sandwich, hashbrown and drink, and it would all be junk food and they would probably screw your order up.
Keep doing what you're doing! Can't wait to try you guys out for lunch.

Been going there for quite awhile always have been good but the last time I went which was yesterday 7/25/24 it was not good chicken was not fresh and it was dried out got the 9 piece family pieces were really small also and prices went up paid just shy of 30 dollars which would not have bothered me as much if it was good I not sure what changed or if it has different owners but probably won't be back. Very disappointed it use to be so good.
