They price gouged me. Very disappointed in this location. I have been using Discount Tire for at least 30 years. I was driving through Michigan on Highway 94 doing about 60 and hit a pothole the size of a watermelon. Both of my left side tires went flat immediately and my right front rim was cracked. I needed to get all this resolved so I could reach my destination before dark (not the best driver in the dark). I found a couple of tires at another shop (I'm from out of state and didn't know there was a Discount Tire in Jackson MI). When that other shop didn't have the rim available, I started googling and found this Discount Tire. I called them and confirmed they did have a rim that would fit my car. They knew my story about the pothole, etc. and that the other shop would be putting on the tires and I was time constrained so would just pick up the rim and take it to the other shop. They had the invoice waiting for me when I got there so I whipped out my credit card, paid for the rim, they gave me the receipt in the paper folder, put the rim (and apparently a box of lug nuts) in the car and off I drove. When I got back to the other shop, they asked me if I wanted to use the new lug nuts so I said yes. Made it to my destination and everything with my car was great. Fast forward a couple of days when I finally made it to my final destination. Looking at the Discount Tire receipt, I see they charged me $51.00, yes $51.00 for the box of lug nuts and $22.00 for "Installation & Life of the tire maintenance" I did not even buy a tire. I know I should have checked the prices on the invoice before I paid so this loss of $73 is partially of my doing, however, I hold them at least 50% responsible because they took advantage of the situation I was in. Glad I don't live in Jackson Michigan (in more ways than one)

I went to get my tires replaced and OH BOY was this affordable! $266 for two new tires on my lil putt-putt. And it was FAST. I showed up for my appointment and I couldn't have been there for more than 45 minutes and that's an overestimation. A big thank you and a shout-out to all my tire guys who don't get enough love! Your service is fantastic!

I was in Michigan from out of town and needed to leave within the hour to make my flight. I called this location to see if they could squeeze me in when my tire pressure sign came on and one of my tires was really low. They said that they would try their best. Once I got there they greeted me with friendly faces and miles. They went above and beyond to help me out and make sure that I could get out of town to catch my flight. Not only did they go above and beyond but the services that they gave me were free! I cannot rave about this location enough. They got me in and out in less than an hour!

BRIAN SENIOR MANAGER IS A LAZY BUM! Brought in a single trailer tire, by itself that I got from them that was flat. I asked to have it fixed, they said they couldn't get it fixed til the afternoon, but I was in a time crunch so I said no worries. I asked to at least put air in the tire so I could see where the leak was coming from and he said no that he had to do it, so I asked him if he could put air in it really quick. He said no that I would have to check in my tire. They say they do free air fill ups, and it takes a minute to put air in a tire. Brian was not willing to accommodate the customer and didn't want to argue and instead wanted to sit behind his desk doing nothing while no one was even in the waiting room. So I left. Lazy Brian, shame on you.

These guys are nothing but professional. I have purchased 20 tires from them in the past year and a half for all my vehicles and they have always been knowledgable, helpful, and have a sense of urgency. Their appointments have always been on time and their timeliness has been accurate every time. They are upfront with all costs and aren't pushy when it comes to up sells. Any available rebate they have been transparent with and very helpful with the reimbursement procedures. They even drove me back to work and then picked me up when my vehicle was done, which is unexpected as they aren't paid commission. I make sure to tip them and I've also bought the entire staff donuts from across the street. These days it's hard to find knowledgable staff with good customer service, and this is exactly what this location has. Please, Please, Please reward these guys with your business and don't be afraid to throw them a little extra because they will absolutely appreciate it.

Their Fast Friendly service, the knowledge of product, the availably of or to get product in a timingly Manor, either they make it or not.. I've been a customer since 1991, and they've never been bad for me.
