Had been applying at this place for almost a year. The owner ,Shawn, kept telling me he would hire me when he had availability. A couple days back he posted a help wanted sign on his door and then it was gone the next day. I had heard he had filled the position so I asked him why he didn't call me like he had told me he would. At first he gave me a few excuses but after calling his bluff and asking for the real reason he didn't hire me he said " White guys can't sell liquor.". At first I thought he was only joking but then he proceed to approach another customer and asked her " When was the last time you saw a white guy working at a liquor store?" She just shrugged seeming uninterested and he continued to tell me "White guys cant sell liquor, when I do hire white people it's females because they can." So I just left feeling baffled. I don't think anyone should be treated like this and people have a right to know.

Just close down already. You don’t sell anything anymore and you try your hardest NOT to be a business. Ever since Covid all these businesses love to close early ,open late, blame it on lack of help (even though it’s lack of wage) , and then act rude to customers who walk in. Then we wonder why Amazon does so well .

I have been going to this store for over 10 years. The store is very clean, organized and well laid out. The owners/ staff (Past and Present) were/are helpful and always know you by name. They have a large variety of items. If they don't have it, they will order it.

The new owners of this store are horrible. My daughter who has mental illness, took off and ran into their store. When I asked the woman working if they had seen my daughter she lied and told me she hadn't seen her. When I said are you sure? She is only 15 and has mental health issues and takes off sometimes, she said she had seen her but that she had taken off. Which was another lie. She was letting her hide in the back of the store. I was absolutely disgusted and disappointed in how they chose to handle that situation. I will never shop at their store again. I will choose to spend my money elsewhere.
