I went in and had a huge cart full of items. The ground beef was $4.09 lb if you purchased over 5lbs. I ordered 4 - 3lb packages. A young boy weighed everything out for me. I noticed I was being charged $4.99 lb. A white woman in her 50’s stated that in order to get the price of $4.09lb you cannot have any packages under 5lbs. The young boy asked what to do in this case. She said I would have to pay $4.99lb. I told her that it would have been nice to have known that before hand. I told her to foget it, I don’t want anything. I left the store and my entire cart. I drove all the way from Ypsilanti. Don’t waste your time or your money going to a place that doesn’t care about true customer service. I was coming once a month but I definitely won’t be back.

Arguably one of the best old world style meat markets in the county, they always stock an impressive variety of meats and seafood. Happily, they have begun labeling the 'select' grade so you can make an informed choice, but if you want top choice or prime you must ask for it. Still, it's my go to meat source.
