If you like to distance swim this is a nice place to do so. Not many boats. Only saw one. Beach is small, heavily eroded and rocky. Water was relatively clear. Temps were around 69°F July 19. The park has toilets with running water but signs indicate "not portable" No showers. It appears that the structures on the property were built from lake rocks which add to the parks charm. Definitely a wonderful place to swim and camp. I'm giving it only three stars due to its esthetic relationship to other places along the shores of Lake Superior. It is a well maintained park and do recomend it especially if you are a distance swimmer.
Picnic area: Picnic tables available.

Lovely spot for spending the day looking for rocks, having a picnic and playing at the playground.

We love this place and visit often; however, it was our first time camping there. The campsite was very large and it had electricity hookups all for only $30/night

There’s a small sandy area but the beach is mostly rocky. Gorgeous views with very calm water the day we visited. There’s a nice sized parking lot. Lots of families.
Restrooms: There was a small grey built area for the bathroom.
Dog-friendliness: Saw dogs on the beach.

We had a lovely site on the shoreline next to the designated beach area. Nice area, wish we could have stayed longer. We got there late but they had marked our site on a site map taped on the office door. Thank goodness because there was no wifi - cell service to look up our reservation

Fun place to relax and skip rocks. However, be aware that the black flies can be a problem. They have flush toilets and running water for hand- washing, not for drinking. Naturally beautiful.

Wonderful for looking at rocks! Bring water shoes. Sandals don't quite cut it.

The flies are so bad and nothing from them biting you helps

Very nice grand view of the shore of Lake Superior! Parking is close to the beach. Many many beautiful rocks/pebbles washed along the shoreline and into the water...gorgeous colors. Very quiet & peaceful. Does not have places to sit.

Such a beautiful place! Not much for day time rocks. Plenty of yooperlite at night though ?

Wonderful views of Lake Superior, close to swimming, most camping spots have some privacy. Downtown Ironwood is only 25 minutes away. It's the closest town with amenities. There's a park near the Ironwood Theater in town with splash pad, solar powered phone charging at outdoor tables, bike fixing kiosk and EV charger. Great space for kids. The town also has a great microbrew pub, restaurants, bakeries, pasty shops, ice cream shop, whole foods co-op open to everyone, pocket garden, antique shops, library with internet, and more!
Restrooms: The park at Little Girls Point has a modern playground, picnic tables, restrooms, but no showers.

Nice Park but if you want to see the northern lights you might have to find another location because people sit in the lot with their lights on creating light pollution ? the lot was packed people coming and going every 5-10 minutes. I thought I was in. McDonald's parking lot watching people use the drive through.
