This is the filthiest place I have ever stayed in Michigan. No towels. But I finally got one. I was overcharged for the shabby room. Locations great.

I didn't get to stay. I reserved a room for the 4th of July weekend 2 months in advance. Out of no where, a week before the long holiday they canceled my reservation. No explanation . Nothing like ruining a long weekend.

The owner is a super nice guy and aims to please . While it's not the most fancy place it is located right on Lake St. Claire and that's very nice !! There is free wifi as well as free utilities and it's furnished ! Also had free washer and dryer.

It is a very nice place to stay. And the ower was a special person. He tried to help anybody that stayed there. He become a very nice friend and will always stay in touch with hime.

Very clean place. Nice staff. More of a resort than a motel. Beautiful view of the lake they have a house and a cottage apartments and motel rooms. The manager Kelly is very nice she goes over and behond to make you feel comfortable and to help with anything you need. The owner is very nice and easy to work with.

Stayed here in June of 2018 with my wife in a small suite with quaint kitchen, living room, and bedroom. The place was moderately clean but it left a lot to be desired. There were groups of guys drinking beer, smoking, and laughing sitting outside their room doors all night, and they did not seem particularly friendly. We went to the dock on our last night and there was a group of people having a bond fire. They were friendly enough. All things considered, I would not stay here again.

RED FLAG ALERT!!! Do NOT even think about spending 5 minutes in one of their rooms. We booked a one night room 2 months in advance. The rooms they show online are not even close to the actual reality of what you get. We decided to add another day before we actually got there and even though we were 130 miles from home, after checking out the room, we decided to go. The carpet floor by the shower and air conditioner was sopping wet! They have NO onsite staff there! We called management to see if there was another room available and he yelled, ranted, and screamed at my wife over the phone. They couldn't pay me to stay there and NOW won't even refund our credit card charges. To all looking for a nice place to get away,-- you have been warned!

Terrible customer service. I booked for the wrong day, sent an email, called both numbers on the same day I booked and was refused a refund or even a discussion of transferring the payment to the correct day. Just a tough luck, the rooms booked, stay or lose your money. Was offered a "discount" on future bookings... Phones go to voicemail every time. They text you the code and room number, even when I told them I wouldnt be staying, as we were in a different part of the state. Turned out to be a not so great anniversary for me and hubby. Glad we found this out however, and will be taking our block of reservations to a neighboring motel for the "correct" day.

Hotels/motels on the lake in this area are scarce. Stayed here the night before the Blue Water Ramble bike ride taking place in the area. Neat place. Right on the lake. Super easy check-in - received a text with the room code in the text. Showed up, entered the code, and I'm was in a quaint little 1 bedroom apartment on the lake! I'll keep this place in mind for future trips to the area - yeah, I would definitely stay here again.

Bed bugs in the mattreses and in the walls... No refund from management... Wife and I got bit up all night, showed the bite marks on our arms and legs in the morning... No refund! Owner was rude and unprofessional... Actually got mad and raised his voice at us... These guys are new owners...They painted the old place institutional grey, jacked up the rates almost double and kicked out all the long term residents (mostly seniors who had been there some for many years) just to rent out the rooms to low lifes and scum bags... Drug users, beer brawls at 2am and methheads...This place has gone to pot... LiterallyOwners never around...Good luck getting your money back once youve been bitten...
