Walgreens Pharmacy is horrible. They are way too busy to be able to do good business. They canceled a prescription that I re-ordered because they claimed I had transferred it to another pharmacy. Which I did not. I used to use Rite-Aid and NEVER had any issues. Ever since my scripts were transferred to Walgreens due to Rite Aid closing, it has been one thing after another. Including being without meds due to the pharmacy claiming I had transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Having all my prescriptions transferred now, due to how inept they are at filling prescriptions.

Today I went to pickup my prescription and had a young guy that you could tell really didn't care about people. He's just there for a paycheck. Walgreens in Ionia used to be the friendliest pharmacy in Ionia. That's why I have been going to them. I've tried Riteaid and Meijer, but they were the best!! In my opinion. Now, Walgreens is like any other pharmacy that is overworked and really doesn't care that much about their customers...very disappointing!!

Have you ever been unable to speak because you couldn’t breathe properly? I’ve had pneumonia and influenza A at the same time. I am new to the community and needed to transfer my prescriptions from Meijer to this location. Shawn made this process the most difficult. His lack of empathy and unprofessionalism made the process more than overwhelming. I tried calling first and he became irritated with me. I had to physically go into the pharmacy to clarify what was the issue and why it was such a strenuous process to transfer a prescription. His attitude towards my situation is very bizarre because he applied for his job at the pharmacy. Most of the pharmacy employee here have bad attitudes even the pharmacist. Never will I return here

Always a good experience. I like their meet selection they have and they have some good fruit. Apples are real good. Alot of new work has been done to the place and it's looking great. Alot to choose from everyday nice and clean. I love the pet sections too. Nice prices everday so there for I can afford more. Friendly and helpful staff and that's a must. Terrific Store

Do not use the Ionia Michigan location for photo prints! Quality is awful, and employee is more rude than any clerk I have ever met at any store.

My family has been with walgreens pharmacy in ionia ever since they opened. All these years, We have never had any issues with them. They hire rite aid employees and they have went down hill drastically. They don't pay attention to prescriptions and the Dr's directions on them. They wait until the day my husband's insulation is due to be filled to order it, yes it is on auto fill! (We were told to call a week before it's due to remind them to get more in stock, auto refill is on the computer! They get alerts!!) so his med is late every month. The, not original, walgreens personal are not as friendly or caring. Nothing feels personal anymore. They even told us to drive all the way to Kalamazoo to get meds. I MISS THE ORIGINAL WALGREENS!!!!!!!!!!

Yes they're busy and lines are long but they work their butts off everyday and just be thankful they're there to hand you the medication you need it's better than not ever getting it and they have good low prices

Just had another very positive experience at the Ionia Walgreens store, particularly in the pharmacy today. They were incredibly busy and in fact their phones and computers kept going down, but everyone in the Pharmacy area was giving 100% to keep the customers happy and things moving along. Marcus waited on me and was extremely tenacious in tracking down a needed prescription. He even called me after I had left the store with a further update. I remain very impressed with their dedication to excellent customer service!

I was not only impressed but VERY grateful when Alex in the pharmacy helped me to find a way to significantly reduce the high cost of my prescription. When I postponed getting the medication to try to find other options, he personally called me back to let me know of coupons they had taken the time to find coupons that would work. When I thanked him, he gave credit to the entire team there for working together!
