I stopped in here for the first time today, 5/17/24. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the aquatic department. Many tanks were cycling with no fish and the others had clear water with fish that appeared healthy and vigorous. Their aquatic department is extremely well stocked with hard to find, high end fish feed, a large assortment of aquatic and semi aquatic live plants, and numerous tanks and decor to choose from.Unfortunately the bettas are kept in pet-store standard cups, but the cups had clean water and healthy fish.Capital Area Humane Society has cats and kittens for adoption here and they are a very cute addition.The reptiles, birds and small mammals seemed to be healthy and happy, with appropriate housing.Ionia needed a good pet store and this fits the bill.

Cheapest best quality cat food in town better deals then Meijer an better ingredients, not to mention the rewards system that gives your 10th bag of food free it's just a really neat place an I like going there very good

I haven't had great luck with buying Superworms to feed my bearded dragon. It seems like there are way more dead worms than there should be.

Newer store that looks very nice. The animals have the same problem that all the other chains have. The bare minimum is done for the animals. I would not buy a pet from them.

Petco is a great store to have around to get cat scratches for all the cats.
