“Went in for a transmission issue and a leak at my oil pan. Got quoted 4K from competitors in the area, they found it was an update needed and just an oil plug and saved me thousands of dollars. Similar story when we took my wife's vehicle there. These people are honest and give great detail in what they are doing to make you feel comfortable throughout the process. “I took my vehicle here to have it checked after a PTU unit was replaced by another shop out of State. Chris and his team thoroughly inspected the previous job and ensured there are no leaks through the seals and that the unit was functioning as expected. They were really professional and nice enough to not charge for the service. Who does that these days? Great customer service. I highly recommend them. “I've been taking my car there for years. Newer cars that were no longer under warranty, cars as old as 2001 and cars with over 200,000 miles. When I was going to take a long driving vacation, I will go there at times to have my car inspected. I've had cars that have needed over $500 worth of work, cars that Ali has said it was just something minor and charged me $20 to fix and cars that he said it really weren't worth fixing. I've never trusted a mechanic so much in my life. I've even taken used cars there to have him check them out before buying them. I recommend every take their cars to him. This review probably sounds like I'm a relative, but I assure you that I'm not. If you're looking for a good, honest, fair auto repair shop you don't have to look any further!”

“Joe Is a Dam Good Mechanic, I Know? Im a Old Mechanic Myself, But have Aged, I Took My Ford Ranger & Joe was able to Make Repair to a Shifting cable that was a Simple Repair, Not only did he Make the Repair, He saved me a lot of Grief & Didn't Try to Screw over Me, & informed me on the Problem & it gave me enough time to Have him Replace the Cable, The Repair was a Fair & just Price, ? Then i Took My Caddie to him Thinking My Transmission was going Out, Again Joe Looked at it & He Test Drove it & it wouldn't act up, days later it Started again i went Back Joe said he Felt it Now, We both Didn't know if it was the Transmission, He said, Well hold on, & did his Research, Then he said,I think i know what it might be & if Not its in the Transmission, So he told me Let's try this First, I just knew it was the Transmission, Joe Installed the VSS sensor & Plug, The Repair Cost was Good Fair Price & The Caddie Runs Great Again, Thank You joe, The the difference between a Good Mechanic Than a Remove & Replace Man, Anybody can R&R = Remove & Replace Mechanic. ?? “Wow... Just Wow!!! This gentleman is absolutely and genuinely a good person. He will not B.S you and I found him to be very reasonable with his pricing. I had a sway bar link I needed repaired and explained it has to be on a day where he could get it done the same day. 3 hours later he called and I was good to go. No extra B.S about "oh you need a new this&that soon" He will give you an honest assessment on your vehicle and you can drive away confident that you got a fair shake. Unlike some other mechanics I've dealt with in the past. I've used his shop twice now and Dan is by far, bar none THE BEST you will find!!!”
“I was having trouble with the dealership getting my extended warranty company to replace my transmission, I brought my van down to Jon and he got the approval for a new transmission in no time. I've had to get a few vehicle inspections for Uber and Pete took care of me for those. He pointed out a few things that I might need to keep an eye on but didn't try to scare me into getting the work done Right now. “This shop came recommended from my usual garage. Had a clutch replaced on a car. They offered a fair price based on cost estimates for a similar job found online. I had a concern with the car after I got it back but they took care of it. The owner/manager and employee that I interacted with were both polite and professional and answered all my questions. Would recommend.”
“I had Independent Transmission upgrade my 1992 Mustang from the "factory defect" stock 2.73 final drive ratio to a 3.73 ratio. They did a great job, got the work done quickly, and the car works great. I also had some brake work and then one drum was overheating. They took the car back in and rooted out and fixed the problem (an out of round new drum). Even though it was a defective new part and not their fault, they did not charge me to fix it. They were not satisfied until they had my car right. My impression is that Independent Transmission is an honest and competent shop.”

“I dropped my car off at Riverside Auto Care last week due to a gas leak. They informed me that that the fuel line was damaged and they would be able to repair the car on the same day they receive the part. When I went to pick up the car, I assumed I was just going to pay for the service they provided and be on my way. Instead, the gentleman brought me outside of the shop to:1. Show me the damaged fuel line that was underneath my car and explain why/how it got damaged.2. Explained to me how the fuel line was installed.3. Explained the reasoning the cost of the service they provided.It always a bummer having to cough up money for auto repairs, but I've never experienced a auto shop going out of their way to explain in detail the what/why/how. This is something I did not ask for and it was greatly appreciated since I'm not too savvy when it comes to auto repairs. Previous auto shops I've gone to will just collect your money, hand you your keys, and you're on your way. It was definitely a great experience getting my car fixed at Riverside Auto Care.”

“This was my first time using Dearborn Total Automotive & it was by far the best experience I have ever had with a mechanic shop. The power steering went out in one of my vehicles & DTA was the closest shop to my home. Not only did they get my vehicle in right away, but they drove me home since they would need a couple days to fix it.
