If you value your hair, DO NOT use this salon for highlights. Came out after FOUR hours only to have orange hair. I had to go back and demand she fix it. Walked out with the same color I started with.....almost $200. ??????

Awful service. The first thing Elizabeth did was make fun of my sweatshirt. Once I got sat down I showed her the reference photo - of me from when I had my hair short years ago - which was to cut my hair to just above my shoulders. I was uncomfortable the entire time I was there and almost got up and left when she repetitively used the word r**ard. She not only made tons of unprofessional comments and jokes, but was super loud and obnoxious. Towards the end she checked to make sure it was even on both sides of my face - which it was not - and blamed it on me. My hair is cut longer than I wanted it to be and she had the audacity to ask for a tip when I was paying. All that for my hair to still be completely uneven.

I made a same day appointment as I really wanted a relaxing cut and wash. I got Elizabeth. I left crying and cried over my hair the following day. She began asking what we were going to do and I said I’d like about 4-5 inches off. She proceeded to show me an inch and said is that good, it was not. She then parted my hair into three sections and cut. I let her know I don’t cut my hair often as my ancestral beliefs. To which she responded with insulting comedy about how it doesn’t matter to cut your hair “cut cut cut” she slurred behind my chair. My face fell immediately. Her conversation was unpleasant. She complimented my plugs as earrings to which I confirmed they were gauges. She then went on a long tangent about how gross and smelly they were. Unprofessional. When she was finished she pulled the hair to the front to make sure the lengths matched to which she said something “about it being uneven” to which I replied, frustrated and sad “I’ll just go somewhere else to get it cut again”. At this point she reached for a small section and snipped a little to “correct” it. My hair was constantly getting sucked into the back of the hairdryer causing me pain. The pile of hair on the floor after was les that if you shaved a bald man. If you don’t like peoples hair why keep doing it? Never asked where my hair parts naturally or if I wanted a face frame. She did the frame on her own accord. Included pictures of my results from a cut and wash at a professional salon (first picture )and what I was left with after this visit (2nd and 3rd pic). Fourth pic is my hair before the cut natural. Exactly a year apart. I believe every one of these review about Elizabeth. The neighboring stylist seemed to have a wonderful personality and seems to actually care about her clients needs. Maybe they are riding on the old owners good reviews. IMO. Haven’t even changed the interior of the place? Learned my lesson. I never go to a hair place twice. But now I will be returning annually to my previous dresser.

Getting my hair cut has been a point of stress for me over the past couple of years. I'm introverted so the interactions can be difficult for me. It's especially difficult to try someplace new. I was nervous but happy to report my appointment went very well. Elizabeth is personable without being invasive and highly skilled. She is quick without sacrficing quality and even showed me how to style it. I look forward to being a repeat client.

I travel over 60 miles to get my hair done, and always enjoy the time with the crew that works there. Very friendly staff and great conversations. This place is awesome...

Walked in expecting to just cut my hair for a donation and walked out with a great new style. I was somewhat nervous because I had 19" cut off! The stylist Serenity took her time and never made me feel rushed.

We will never be back. We have always been a customer. We loved the old hair crew by subway on latson but Once new ownership took over the new owner is snotty, rude and don’t care who leaves happy or not. We had an issue with our child’s hair and when I called she got mad and hung up on me. It stinks because the other lady who we love to see there will no longer get our business due to the owner and her high horse.So our family of 5 has now found a new salon and will no longer recommend this salon whereas before we always have.

Best salon. We have been seeing them for 4 plus years for my 12 year old who is very picky and refuses any other salon. The two ladies are wonderful and do a great job with kids. My daughter is 9 and started seeing them today. Highly recommend!
