I had a very good experience here. Well stocked shelves. My kids purchased multiple items, paying them selves adding up all the bills doing the math. The cashier was very patient and understanding. I'm very happy with my family's experience. I will definitely return while in the area!
This is the only place that I have found that has the tea we love!

We’ve been coming in for years and the inventory of the store is great. However, we will be going down the street to the other location from now on. We about had it with the older short woman with gray hair and raspy voice who works the register. She is by far the rudest employee I have ever met at any establishment. The way she talks to customers is awful. It happens every time I am in there but today was the final straw. I don’t understand how they could employ such a horrible employee who disrespects and talks down to their customers. It’s the 3rd time I have seen her do this or she ignores people and slams their items into bags. She needs a attitude check and how to speak kindly to customers

I waited and gave this location a few tries before leaving this review. However, after 4 incidents involving the same store associate, I felt it was necessary. There's an older woman with dark grayish hair, and she definitely has a problem with people of color. She's ignored me when I come to check out, she's tried to skip over me and help the person behind me, she's completely walked away from the register when I've walked up, and today she flat out refused to ring up my items. She cleaned her register, ignoring me for several minutes, before finally directing me to another register so she wouldn't have to deal with me. Her behavior is so unacceptable for any job dealing with people. Racism and discrimination have no place in customer service. I felt so disrespected, and incredibly disappointed in her lack of professionalism. Needless to say, I'll take my business to the other Dollar Tree location where they treat all people/customers with respect.

I went to this dollar tree today and I did not have the best experience. I have been going to this dollar tree for years, I loved all the employee's until I met one who was not nice today. I have been low on money recently because of some family health issues. Today I went in and spent around 5 dollars in the store. the cashier ( I believe her name is Anne) was very unhappy that she had to straighten my dollars out and made sure to tell me rudely that they can't go in the drawer if they are crumpled. I know how retail works I have worked in retail for 3 years now. This is not my first rodeo. On the other hand I know that the customers are supposed to be respected. Not spoken rudely, given rude looks and they also should not b e huffed and puffed at. I hope that the management can find a way to fix this behavior because I would like to continue going to this store.

I must admit that ever since the new manager Al ,took control of managing the Dollar Store in downtown Howell Mi the shelves are greatly stocked interior environment very clean and no more waiting in lines thanks to new management Al.Thanks AL for turning the store into a pleasant business to shop.

Cashier Ann is so very rude. My wife had her hands full with a baby and the goods she bought. Glass wear at that. Ann said “you need to return the basket where you got it” my wife didn’t. Ann then called her the B word. Absolutely disgusting.
