I walked in with 8 minutes until closing and the cashier/manager? told me they were closing and tried to rush me out before I got what I came for (bread, mayo and a candy bar) when I paid for the items he acted like they were already closed and I was delaying him when the time was 3 minutes till 10:00 . Why so rude???

One of the managers is always super rude when I go in there. Any time she rings me up or has to fix a price, she always has an attitude. I try to avoid this store unless necessary because I don't want to deal with someone who hates their job so much that they have to take it out on others.

I like the new store people are so nice so far lol and easy self check out so not really waiting long on lines plus this store is so clean and neat has a lot of good stuff so I'm not stuck going to Lepkins where they are so pricy so sad how they charge so much know they the big food store for Howard city customers ..I feel sorry for other dollar general in town always messy packed with boxes on the floor and isles are so tight plus the lettuce and tomatoes are always out date so be careful everyday open to 10 pm nice Good luck !!! Now we need a new pizza place !!

Not once have I ever seen the place organized/clean, in all of the years it’s been around. Cashier acts like he lives under a rock, never said a single word to me. Self Checkout is card only 24/7. Thankfully family dollar is a few doors down.

May 9 2022Stopped in for candy right after 10a. Walked in the store wearing my sunglasses. Looked at the sunglasses display and tried on a pair..not what I was looking for. Stayed in the store looking at outdoor decorations and other things. Went to pay for my candy, wearing my sunglasses. Before announcing my totalThe clerk asked if I was going to pay for my sunglasses...I took off my glasses to show how smudged they were...it was obvious they weren't new. I've had them for over a year.The clerk just said she had seen me trying on sunglasses.By this time there was a customer behind me in line...I didn't steal anything but the accusation was very public.I don't know what the store policy is when shoplifting is suspected. You may want to use this a teachable moment for your clerks. I live in the town next door to Howard City.I am 67 years old.

gives Leppinks some decent competition. Layout is messy & confusing tho, & everyone who works here says it's a trash job. To top it off they don't even carry the movie Over the Hedge smh

I only really shop here for everything, food, home décor and more. The worker's are always nice and eager to help you find thing's. Always asking if I have found everything I needed! I love that, because sometimes I need something, and they help grab what I missed.
