Jim's Foodmart is an absolute staple in the Houghton/Michigan Technological University community. Extremely convenient to access from campus, fair prices, and the best beer, wine, and spirits selection in the area.Whether you need some quick grocery items, or if you need to do a full grocery shop, Jim's has you covered.Locally owned and operated. Shop local. Support local. You can tell that the owners care about the store and their employees. All staff is very friendly and helpful. Great job to everyone at Jim's! They never disappoint.

No photos, sorry. Jim’s is either a well-stocked convenience store or low-stocked supermarket. But is good for the market it serves on the edge of the University. They do have good prices on liquor.

Super place to buy liquors and other daily grocery. I love finding cold beer any time any day and their 1 liter Buds stock. Also great selection of other liquors and wines.The groceries are slightly pricey than Walmart (which is normal), but Jim’s is at a more handy location. We should support local businesses and I am glad to have Jim’s around. I gave 4 than a 5 ‘cause the cashiers are occasionaly dour.

While potentially best known for their liquor and beer selection, Jim's also has a wonderful array of unique grocery items not found elsewhere in the Keweenaw. A large international isle offering, prepackaged bulk, local coffee, goods, and products all fill out the rest of the store. It's an enjoyable shopping experience with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Each time I go I always find something new and interesting!

An excellent selection of Indian and Asian foods and ingredients are available as well as an extensive selection of hard to find beer, ciders and wines. In addition they carry most any other groceries you may need in a convenient and easy to shop market. Employees are always helpful and friendly as well.

Generally good, but have received an expired chocolate covered Oreos… should have checked the packaging first, but still was out on display
