I just randomly called Doc’s hoping they could at least work us in to top off the fluid and help us get home.
Thaer, Jon and Boyd went above and beyond. They disrupted their own schedules to help us out 2 hours before closing.
Just like that we were on our way back to our weekend getaway.
This shop doesn’t just do great work , provide a 3 YEAR WARRANTY (good at shops across the country) they are wonderful people.

“My experience with Ben and his team was excellent. This was so different from my experience at another local garage. The engine was making a concerning sound and I was worried that it might break down. Chuck’s Garage got me an appointment immediately, and when I dropped off my vehicle, Ben walked out with me to get a clear understanding of the problem. I knew the price for the diagnostic before I left it there. I received a call within a couple of hours, a complete and thorough diagnostic report with over 30 photos of my vehicle, and a full understanding of the problem and a sense of relief that it wasn’t a safety issue. When I went to pick it up, they had discounted the rate I was quoted. The service, kindness, respect (for a female with car concerns), and quality service will have me returning to Chuck’s Garage from this point forward.”

“We were passing through East Lansing from out of town. All of a sudden I started hearing a terrible noise from my right front suspension. After calling a few other repair shops with no luck being 4 pm on a Friday, I got a call back that muffler man was able to get me in before they closed that evening. It ended up being a minor repair, they got us in and out quickly and were honest & friendly in the process. Thanks Muffler Man!

“Came here to exchange tires I ordered through the Walmart app. One of the tires in the original shipment was the wrong size. The auto center manager, Tara, was super nice and patient during the entire process. Auto technicians/mechanics also were helpful in loading the new tires to take home.”

He was flexible, transparent with me regarding what my car needed at the state it was in, was willing to be flexible with deals offered at another location and being accepted at his location. “Right before a big drive, needed an oil change and decided to give this place a shot. Much quicker than Valvoline, friendlier and overall just a better experience. I didn’t feel like I was being pushed into buying anything I didn’t need, all the workers were nice and informative. Filled everything up, tires, washer fluid, even picked the leaves out from under my hood! Definitely choosing here next time as well! I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but Monday the 12th at around 10am, those guys need a raise and some recognition for their hard work!”

“First time visit: They seem to run a tight ship. I liked that I could hear them tell each other what step they were on in the oil change, what tools they were using and the name and part number of what was being installed. Quick service, cost a little more than I'm used to, but I have a high mileage vehicle that only takes full synthetic oil, so i cant really fault them for that. They even got me set up for a rebate and coupon. Everyone there was kind and helpful.”
