Sleep number is to mattresses what Apple is to technology. There is a handful of high quality options to meet almost any budget (I got a queen on sale for $999). You know that you are getting a quality product and they stand behind their products with a 15 year warranty and seemingly good support.
I worked with Steve and he was very helpful and not salesy at all.
Full disclosure, I have not actually received the mattress yet, but I felt more confident with this purchase that I felt at other matters stores. They have a 100 night trial (like most companies) so if I don't like it we can still return it.

I stopped in the clean and organized store to purchase a new pair of sheets. After showing me the quality options we ordered the appropriate color. After just leaving the salesman called me expecting he found a set in the store. I was happy to turn back around and he walked the set out to my car.

Read all the fine print on the “100 night trial.” $250 for all exchanges or returns which takes weeks. Another $45 for a bracket to attach my headboard that I wasn’t told about. If you buy an adjustable bed frame you are stuck with Sleep Number because the adjustable bed frames are all final sale.This is just a “sales” office. After you get your bed, they direct you to the 800 number for any issues.

The staff in the store was very helpful, professional, and thorough. My only complaint is now that I created my account, I'm getting several e-mails a day; unnecessary e-mails...rate this, rate that. I don't want to unsubscribe because then I'll miss important delivery e-mails, but this is ridiculous!
