It’s a hard job and the rewards to do it are shrinking. The amenities offered for this public institution can’t be matched, and in fact, should be cherished. The fact that you can get a piece of mail across the country for pennies is a testament to our country.”

“I have found helpful personnel in the Zeeland PO staff and my carrier. I recommend this post office for reliable, pleasant, and fast service.I am a snowbird for the winter in the South. I used the mail forwarding service twice a year. Twice the mail forwarding computers caused problems that needed extensive help from people to correct. First was when my travel was interrupted by COVID-19, and this year, the PO changed the computerized forwarding system, which caused additional problems. The workers in Zeeland took my many calls on different days and times. If they were busy, they called me back. They called back every time. They took my problems personally and tried several techniques to correct the computer-driven errors. I never felt I was bothering them despite many calls. I felt well taken care of and never felt like a pest or bothering them.My personal carrier is also very personable, knowledgeable, and reliable. He has called his manager on his phone from my front yard to resolve a question. His experience and care keep me from worrying about mail piling up in my mailbox while I'm gone. He remembers which customers usually go in the winter and ensures their mail doesn't accumulate in their mailboxes. The US Postal Service is supposed to do that, but it is nice having him watch over my mail delivery when it doesn't work as expected.I see many older reviews that are negative. My experience is more recent and has been 100% positive.”

“Did shopping on line and this is what I found when I got home. I live 30 miles from the Holland store. I email them and get a response saying “sorry, come to the store so we can fix this”. Wow. Their fault, I need the product this weekend, and they want me to waste my time and money to fix their mistake. How about a full refund on the product so I can buy a replacement locally at a different store? And I selected the wrong option, meant to say I don’t recommend them.”
