I have come here a few times now for my pomsky's grooming. A woman named Elizabeth does a great job. She always cuts her exactly how I ask. The staff are very friendly as well.

Went there for the first time in a while since we have a new puppy. The first thing that was great was they are very animal friendly. Unfortunately there was poop and pee all over the floors. It made it very hard to shop with my kiddos.

Been awhile since I have been here. Saw a reptile light for sale on the website. It was 50% off. Went to beick and mortar store and was charged fulll price, but shows them price on website and they adjusted it. . Was overcharged for one fish., next time. Their time bought 10 neon tetras but got home and had only 9. Lessons learned. Do your due diligence.

People looking for a good pet store should reconsider going to the petco in holland. Going there today 6/10/24 we noticed how poorly treated and cared for their reptiles where. Their temperatures and humidities were completely wrong. There were many leopard geckos with stuck shed and one that looked like it was almost dead. Three of them all laying by the smallest little watering bowl trying to cool off because they were being kept at 95 degrees with a humidity of 20%. They also had bearded dragons at 55 degrees Fahrenheit. When trying to find a worker to tell them about these cages I walked around for over 10 minutes until I finally had to call their animal help line.
Edit: So calling the animal helpline number again this morning the lady said they have to push my complaint to the management of that store which can take 24 to 48 hours even though there's animals suffering ( one looked to be dying) in those boxes. The lady on the phone seemed to not care whatsoever about the safety or care of the reptiles

They stopped selling Welness, dry Chicken formula. So now we buy it elsewhere.

Checked out close to 8pm and Jason and Peyton helped me. They were both incredibly rude. I have two children with level 2 ASD and ADHD and Jason made us feel horrible. He made my husband run back out to the car for .4 cents because they put their cash drawers up before the store closed. Will never be back again!

I needed a de-matting tool for my cat. She is an American long hair of 18 years and doesn't groom herself as good as she used to. They helped me find the perfect tool so I don't have to just shave it all off.
