“Even after going to a few different places, this place seems to have the right vibe for connecting with some of the potential pets here. Many years ago, I ended up finding the sweetest cat at another V.I. Pets location.This time, we were looking for a first pet for my little one and we ended up finding the absolute sweetest hairless rats. I did not expect to walk out of there with rodents but like I said, the vibe there is just different. Another awesome thing is that because the rats were hairless, they didn’t trigger her allergies like furry animals do. Right place and right time made it all work out!”

“Just a week in with our Mini Aussiedoodle, but wanted to write a review on the great Customer service I received from Great Lakes Pet Food. They have started a new website recently, which caused some issues with my first order. Danielle at GLPF was a champ and responded quickly and corrected my order when one of my Meat Treats was not delivered. A true test of a companies commitment to its customers is how they handle situations when things go wrong, and Danielle and GLPF passed with flying colors. Assuming our Pup does well on this food, which he was started on with his breeder, we will be long term customers of Great Lakes Pet Food! Thank you!!”

“We wanted a Syrian hamster for my sons birthday and I had a special interest in making sure we got him from a store that really took care of their small animals and knew all the details about them. We were directed to their hamster expert, Kellen (Kellin?) who was SO impressive. He spent almost 30 minutes with us explaining everything we needed to know, down to each hamsters personality so we were able to choose the best one for our family. He even was on his break! I cannot believe how genuine, caring and helpful he and the entire team was. Now we have our buddy “Toast” living his best life in his deep tunnels (he hides his food in his secret spot), burrowing to his hearts content, taking sand baths and enjoying the occasional veggie treat from us. We love him so! A big thank you from us!!!”

“I took my dog Hunter there yesterday for his first grooming. He is an Irish Cream Golden Retriever, almost 1-1/2 years old. He needed a bath, nails trimmed, brushing, a few mats removed and hair cut out around the pads of his feet. Meagan did his grooming and she did a BEAUTIFUL job! She used whitening shampoo, so he looks white as snow (almost), the pads of his feet are free of hair (no more snow balls in the house & risk of frost bite for dear Hunter)! She also clipped his nails! GREAT JOB MEAGAN!!! Thank You”
